“Something finally different and great!”

Very unusual decoration, very well located. The staff is struggling with English but motivated to help. Breakfast more than correct with different choices to order on the day before. The room was large, very good shower. If I return to Nan, I'll stay here again.

I had always wanted to visit Nan, up in Northern Thailand and decided to book a 3-nights' stay in at the PX122 Dbest Hotel in March this year based on positive online feedback. Earlier reviews appear to indicate that the establishment provided free airport pickup/drop-off. Perhaps this was only offered during a promotional period as it did not transpire in my case. A slight disappointment then, although the actual taxi ride wasn't really expensive (THB100). I am fan of the hotel's industrial design and enjoyed the aesthetics of the loft room that I had booked, although it may not necessarily be to everyone's taste. Location-wise, the hotel is spot-on and is within walking distance to the major temples in the city such as Wat Phumin, Wat Ming Muang and Wat Phra That Chang Kham. I was also there on a Sunday evening and joined the locals along the Kuang Mueng Nan Walking Street and bazaar (which runs alongside Wat Phumin). The hotel itself also has a smaller night market and food stalls along the main road as well as OTOP shops selling traditional wear/wares. Northern Thailand had been hit by rather severe air pollution in the first quarter of this year from slash & burn farmers. Fortunately, during the period when I was in Nan, the air quality improved somewhat, so apart from a slightly smoky Sunday evening, I actually enjoyed 3 days of clear skies and great cycling weather. The hotel provides breakfast in a small (affiliated?) cafe next door, which you can pre-select the evening before. There are also a cafe which serves breakfast and a 7-11 along the main road should you choose to have something different. Perhaps the only issue during my short stay was arranging for transport as Nan is after-all a small town and taxis are quite hard to get. Do make taxi bookings a day in advance! Still, the hotel does provide bicycles for their guests, which are perhaps the best way to explore the charming town. I will be back!

“Nice room and Good Location”

We stayed 1 night there, hotel located in the city center near by night market, wat Phumin and museum. The room was nice with the industrial style I luv it! The breakfast also great they asked us to choose the menu upon check in, taste and restaurant were excellent. I highly recommend this hotel to… lisää

“Industrial vibes in the heart of town”

Interesting hotel in ‘industrial chic’ style. Rooms are very spacious. Clean and in good shape. Location is very, very convenient for the main sights. The outdoor areas are lovely….fantastic plants. Very quiet generally. Staff helpful but little or no English spoken so be prepared to improvise if y… lisää
