We stayed at this hotel for two weeks. Our room was cleaned everyday even if we stayed in all morning they still cleaned it even at day time. The safe in the room is really cool and we have no complaints about that. Big tv, nice beds, fridge, safe - we bought the cheapest room but still everything was tip top. The staff who guard the new wing hotel is friendly but sleepy. The breakfast were nice too, and the staff there always smiles. Thailand is the country of smiles sure thing. The food changed. But the main courses stayed the same - potatoes, rice,eggs and so on. The hotel has free wifi. If you don't have a computer with you than you can rent one. Ten minutes equals ten batt. Thought the wifi in the rooms is quite slow. Right now I'm writing this from the main lobby. The only bad thing is the beach, but that's the problem of pattaya and not of this hotel in particular. The beach in some places is dirty. But that's tourists to blame because bins are available but they still chose not use it... Russians are so Russian... -__- All in all a nice place to be. I will miss it.

A good new year to you. Per 25/12/08 I booked the Dragon Beach Resort at Jomtien for 2 nights per Rates-to-Go (28-29/12). When I booked I had the impression from the information that I booked myself in a well furbished resort location. I had opted for the DeLuxe room. I am overall happy with the Dargon Beach Resort as a facility and location. Staff were ok. Place was clean and the buffet breakfast is good and it was nice to see it start at 7am. I am however disappointed that the promised level of fittings and services in the DeLuxe room was not as per what was promised. Items and services missing were as follows: - The room I booked was non-smoking and when we walked in the cleaner was still cleaning and definitely this was non a non-smokers room and took me immediately out again. When we returned later the perfume spray tried to hide this, but I was obvious, even still an ash tray…. - No tea and coffee making facility; No hair dryer; No iron and ironing board; No in-room safe deposit box; No wiFi; The room was much smaller than the listed 48 square meter; No 24 hour in-room restaurant service. -The rooms inside are not at all as they are shown in the pictures on the web. They are really very basic and do not deserve to be called a resort class. In all the place was ok, but it was not the deal that I had expected. If I would have been there on business then I would not have accepted this. Maybe the info obtained via RatesToGo is wrong, then the mistake is in their miscommunication with RTG and Dragon Resort. So far I have been happy with RTG, but I wonder if this will happen again.
