First of all l would like to say we booked this hotel for 1 week but myself and friend absolutely love it here so we are still here and have booked for another 6 nights and 💯% will be coming back. Every member of staff from reception, poolside house keeping everyone cannot do enough for you. We asked if we could move to ground floor and within a few hours all our luggage was moved by the staff, l cannot recommend this hotel enough it is truly amazing and the most relaxing place we’ve stayed in Thailand over the last 15 years

I stayed at Divalux Resort & Spa Bangkok Suvarnabhumi as a solo business traveler. There are several things this property does well, but there are also some serious issues that impacted my stay. The positives: The lobby is beautiful, light, airy, and very well designed. The overall property is visually appealing, with lots of greenery and water features that create a relaxing, resort-like atmosphere. The location is excellent, very close and convenient to Suvarnabhumi Airport. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the room initially appeared clean. The bed was comfortable, and amenities such as bathrobes, slippers, toiletries, a safe, and a small refrigerator were appreciated. However, the challenges were hard to overlook. Due to the standing water around the property, there are a lot of mosquitoes. I recommend bringing or buying insect spray. Even after spraying, I had ongoing issues with bugs in my room. The bathroom had visible mold buildup in the shower area, and I consistently encountered winged ants in the sink and shower throughout my stay. My room faced the pool, but the view was obstructed by trees, and there was construction taking place, which limited the pool seating area. The most concerning issue occurred during breakfast. The buffet costs 450 baht if not included, and while the selection seemed good, a rat ran across my feet in the dining area. Other guests confirmed seeing it near the food area. This completely ruined the experience. Management responded and offered compensation, but I chose not to eat at the restaurant again. There is an airport shuttle, which must be scheduled in advance. The spa looked nice, though I did not use it. There are also a few nearby places within walking distance to eat. Overall, the property offers good value and has strong potential, but pest control, cleanliness, and food safety are areas that need immediate improvement.
