All the staff are incredibly friendly and efficient. A taste of paradise........

The hotel and its environment looks so much better than the website. Everything was slightly classier than we expected. The bay itself is completely unspoiled and there is a wonderful uphill walk to the next bay behind the hotel. Speyside is friendly but even in high season a number of the business… lisää

The hotel and its environment looks so much better than the website. Everything was slightly classier than we expected. The bay itself is completely unspoiled and there is a wonderful uphill walk to the next bay behind the hotel. Speyside is friendly but even in high season a number of the businesses are closed. Reception staff were charming and endlessly helpful. Our bungalow room 6 meters from the sea was attractive with super comfy beds. Cleaning was 100%. The best breakfasts ever with lots of Tobagan specialities will keep you going for hours. Book the B nB room rate for best value. Fish on the dinner menu had just jumped onto the plate. Choices for vegetarians a bit limited. There are other gorgeous beaches, boat trips, diving (coral badly affected, sadly by a pathogen) but this part of Tobago is mainly for those that make their own entertainment. We met very happy birders.

Absolutely lovely if you want peace and tranquility on holiday. I stayed here for a week, my second trip to Tobago and this time I was solo. The hotel staff are lovely, always welcoming and very attentive. The decor in the rooms needs a little updating if I'm being honest, some of the furniture has seen better days, but it was spotlessly clean and maid service is every day. The hotel is right on the beach and all rooms have a sea view from the balcony. Very nice restaurant, overlooking the beach the food is great and is international, but I would have liked more choice of local Tobagan fare. I needed Macaroni pie and peas and rice, although they are available in nearby Charlottesville. Beautiful infinity pool and plenty of sun beds. This is not a hotel you can walk to the shops from! It's accessible down a very long steep hill, so if you want to explore, hire a car or get the guides to take you. Little Tobago is well worth a visit on the glass bottom boat which is moored in the bay, as is a trip to Lovers Beach (only accessible by boat) and Pirate Bay. I went low season, so the occasional downpour/storm is expected and sargassum seaweed can be a problem, however, it is very quickly cleared up by the hotel staff. Not an ideal hotel for children who like parks and waterside, but absolute paradise for those wanting to escape. Overall a fabulous relaxing holiday and I will be back.

“Terrific Time-out at Blue Waters Inn”

We just spent four days at Blue Waters Inn in scenic Speyside...the hotel straddles the scenic Batteaux Bay, with clear views across to Goat Island and Little Tobago. We just spent four days at Blue Waters Inn in scenic Speyside...the hotel straddles the scenic Batteaux Bay, with clear views across to Goat Island and Little Tobago. BWI is well-designed and carefully maintained, the meals and drinks were good, the courteous and attentive staff were outstanding...we stayed in the ground-floor end Studio, nearest to the jetty and we would definitely return!
