We had a most remarkable stay at the Imamoglu Pasa Hotel. We we stayed there two nights because my wife wanted to return to the birthplace of her grandmother. The location of this hotel is not especially inspiring. While certainly safe, it's not especially scenic, though if you get a room with a mountain view, that helps. We enjoyed strolling around the local streets, though, and seeing the small businesses nearby. But what really makes this place stand out is the exceptional service provided by the manager. I had contacted him in advance, describing how we hoped to see places associated with the Armenian community that thrived in Kayseri until the 1920's. He arranged for people from the Tourism department to host us for a day of exploring. He negotiated our hire of a car and driver. He met with us regularly to review our plans at the start of each day and to debrief upon our return. He helped us make our order at the delicious restaurant on the top floor. This even involved escorting us through the kitchen to see the different options. He was the epitome of hospitality, and he is the reason everyone should chose this place if they happen to stay in Kayseri. And while we were ultimately headed to Cappadocia, we were glad we'd had a chance to see this vibrant, lively, city-on-the-move.

This boutique hotel in Kayseri is your typical middle class hotel that with some care and some nice touches converts itself In a boutique hotel. Really it is more a comfort hotel that is very adequate if you are in business or you want to visit the Capadoccia area. Good rooms decent bathroom and just about acceptable breakfast for a very decent price. A very good choice

We booked this hotel as an over-nighter en route to Goreme. However, our in bound flight was seriously delayed and didn't arrive at the hotel until the morning of checkout at 7.00am. We booked this hotel as an over-nighter en route to Goreme. However, our in bound flight was seriously delayed and didn't arrive at the hotel until the morning of checkout at 7.00am. After providing us with a good breakfast, we showered and slept for a few hours before a wake up call and checking out. The front desk staff were really good in assisting us with transport to Goreme and I was very grateful for that. So while this was a very short stay, we left with very positive impressions of Imamoglu Pasa Hotel and would definitely stay here again

“A transit hotel, on the road to Cappadocia :)”

The room facilities are ok, a little bit far away from the title ‘boutique hotel’ :) but still suitable for a good sleep over the night. I can recommend the hotel for a short transit, since the mattress is good, the bed big and comfy. The hotel is far away of most atractions, you have to walk a lot… lisää

I can recommend the hotel for a short transit, since the mattress is good, the bed big and comfy. The hotel is far away of most atractions, you have to walk a lot, or to drive the car till the city center. you can't read in your room (the light in not suitable) and do not expect to see internacional tv.
