The JW Marriott Marmara Sea Istanbul is one of those hotels you keep talking about long after you've checked out - and it's all because of the people. From the warm welcome at reception to the breakfast team who remember your name and preferences from day one: everything simply works. Requests are fulfilled before you need to repeat them. The rooms are beautifully appointed, the overall standard is high - but it's the genuine hospitality that sets this place apart from the rest. You can tell: this is a hotel run with real passion and outstanding management. Highly recommended without reservation.

“Staff make this hotel amazing”

I was put into the hotel by Turkish Airlines as a stopover hotel... poor poor me :-). The room was very large with a rain shower, large bathtub & everything you could need however it is the staff that make a hotel exceptional and they did. I was put into the hotel by Turkish Airlines as a stopover hotel... poor poor me :-). The room was very large with a rain shower, large bathtub & everything you could need however it is the staff that make a hotel exceptional and they did. Reception & concierge very helpful with check in, directions, check out and the breakfast was exceptional too, a big shout out to Nurseda who started bringing me over Turkish titbits to try new things and when I cheekily asked how many of the turkish delight I could take as i did not have time to go shopping, very kindly provided me with a container to take away. I unfortunately was not in the mood to take advantage of the indoor swimming pool or spa but next time I definitely will.

I’ve found my new go-to spot in Istanbul. the JW Marriott Marmara Sea. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our stay so incredible. I’d mentioned beforehand that it was my partner’s birthday, and they really ran with it. From the second we pulled up, the butler was right there to help with our bags, and the check-in was seamless. To the lovely woman at reception who helped us I’m so sorry I missed your name but thank you for being so professional and giving us such great tips for the city. The room was a total "wow" moment. They’d set up a birthday surprise that was so thoughtful and clearly put together with a lot of care. My partner was thrilled! Aside from the decor, the room was spotless, huge, and had the most comfortable bed. But the real star was that panoramic view of the Marmara Sea—waking up to the ocean every morning was the best kind of therapy. The facilities pool, jacuzzi, gym were top-notch, but honestly, the breakfast might have been the highlight. Everything was fresh, but a special shout-out to the chef making the ramen it was surprisingly delicious and a total standout. It’s the people here who make the place. We felt so welcomed and valued the entire time. Once again, thank you very much to the entire team for such a wonderful and memorable stay. We truly felt at home here. The amazing staff are the true stars of this hotel. We will definitely come back again very soon to this beautiful and lovely hotel.
