This is a terrific budget option in a great neighbourhood that is quiet, yet close to the action. There are several restaurants within walking distance, including some of my favourites. There is also one of the best beaches that is often quiet. It is one of the best values on the island, imo. There are two pools (one heated and the other adults-only) There is a hottub and the resort is extremely well-tended. I honestly can't compare my experience at La Vista Azul with the negative reviews here. They are privately owned condos, so maybe those who had bad experience chose the wrong units. Search on STR platforms and read the reviews. You won't be disappointed.

Stayed at this property for 24 hours as our flight was cancelled. Nice property, an Italy feel from the building. Nice rooms and room balcony. We caught this property at the last minute and they were accommodating. Rooms are equipped with all the necessities you would find in a condo (plates, glasses, silverware, etc.) very nice. The shower is amazing. Did not get a chance to see the pool. No elevator, so I hope you are in shape, difficult if you have luggage but overall, not bad. Had dinner at the Mango Reef which is within walking distance. I give it 4 stars.

We booked through a travel agent but is also avail on Air BB it is a very unique condo complex but is a bit of a hybrid hotel we had housekeeping services come everyday but they use the washer and dryer in the unit to wash your towel and sheets but they make the beds with fresh ones and tidy up the kitchen and bath but there is no phone to call front desk like in a hotel so you have to walk there if you have questions or whatever or use cell phone which can be problematic if you don't have any international service but the pools were nice no elevator and ALOT of stairs there is a parking lot on top of complex so you can walk down stairs if you need to instead of carrying all your stuff up otherwise Hope you work out because those stairs are no joke the front desk is on the bottom of the complex I suggest asking for an ocean view you must rent a car on this island and the hotel is close to the airport and 15 to 20 minutes from any given Beach We were there for eight days and literally visited a different beach every single day all of them so beautiful they look fake and take advantage of having a full kitchen. Do yourself a favor or take a ride to the supermarket and then the liquor store stock up for the week because the island is extremely expensive and the food and drinks are mediocre at best and not worth all the money you are better off taking day trips to the beach, making yourself breakfast and lunches. The hotel is also walking distance from a couple of restaurants at the marina. But eating out is so overpriced! I would stay here again it is a very quiet complex the front desk staff is definitely not warm and fuzzy at all and can be much more friendly and accommodating the hospitality can use some work. And it was our 40th anniversary and they did nothing special nothing in our room not even a bottle of wine maybe because the units are individually owned but our reservation noted it was a special occasion in past on other anniversary trips we have come to our room at other hotels with the bed decorated and bottle of champagne or something so little things like that do go a long way in the hospitality world but oh well opportunity missed on their part but our room was nice everything worked the outdoor patio was huge and faced the ocean we we building 4 room 303 1 flight down from the pool and jacuzzi these are the better rooms ask for ocean front room
