“Perfect Hotel for a short city trip”

Room was clean and modern. The breakfast was very good. The hotel was near by the train station Keleti, we could walk directly to the hotel, no public transport or taxi was necessary. I can highly recommend this hotel

I would highly recommend this hotel, with its well priced bar and tasty breakfasts. Perfect location, away from busy hustle and bustle of Budapests main streets. With a small, tree filled park across the road you can enjoy coffee and cake, a game of ping pong or a Wednesday night jive to live music on the bandstand. We didnt have time to use the onsite sauna or gym. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Perfect 10/10

The Up! Hotel is an excellent hotel for a break in Budapest. Being on the Pest side, you are smack bang between the Danube and the Hero’s Park. The Up! Hotel is an excellent hotel for a break in Budapest. Being on the Pest side, you are smack bang between the Danube and the Hero’s Park. Outside the hotel there is a small park which is clean and has a coffee shop in it which is owned by the hotel which is reasonably priced. At the weekends, there is a market at this park too with local vendors selling all types of food to prepare meals, but there is also prepared food you can sample too. The hotel is a 5min away from a stop on the M1 metro line, which runs from the centre of Pest all the way to the city park which is useful. I highly recommend getting a travel pass to make the most of the transport links in Budapest. The room was clean and felt recently refurbished. There is a tablet which connects to your TV, controls the air con in the room and also houses all of the guest services you could possibly need. Including an instant messaging service with reception for any queries. We used it to request an iron & ironing board for the room and someone dropped it off within 10mins! My one slight complaint, to knock a star off was the bed, the mattress was far too firm for my taste.
