I stayed in this Hotel with a group of 13 friends on our way back from Ukraine before flying back home from Debrecen. We've stayed here a few times before in years gone by. The front desk staff are especially helpful and went out of their way to fit in our requests (late check out for one room, extension of spa facilities). The teenagers in our group enjoyed the billiards room and gym facilities. Other guests, mostly older Hungarians, were kind to us with a minimum of tutting despite the breaches of etiquette we must unwittingly have inflicted on them. There are a few customs, such as the token system for towels, how to operate lockers and book massages. which might not be obvious to first-time visitors. Not all the staff speak English to explain these. However, their friendliness and patience outweighed any language difficulties. A few of the English signs are unintentionally funny, such as the offer of a "nose hoover" and requirements for "un house broken children" to wear swim nappies. The evening and breakfast buffets were varied and plentiful.Some of us also had a midday meal a la carte, and we recommend the sharing platters which were delicious. The location is convenient for the bus station, and on the far side of the bus station there's a pizzeria and minimarket both of which are open long hours including Sundays. The railway station is the opposite side of town but there's a cheap shuttle bus. There are a few forms to fill in oat check-in that require passport numbers, names and addresses. One of the staff had kindly filled these out by hand for those of us who have stayed there before which we thought was a lovely personal touch. This hotel is great value for money and I am sure we will stay here again.

“Perfect place even with children”

We stayed with my family in this hotel for last Easter. The hotel is on very good position near to Aquapalace, city center and swimming pool. We stayed with my family in this hotel for last Easter. The hotel is on very good position near to Aquapalace, city center and swimming pool. It's nice hotel little bit older but very clean with friendly staff and very good kitchen. There is wellness with 2 pools with thermal water, small pool for kids and pool for swimming. Outdoor there is another pool working in summer and also in wellness you can get massages and sauna. Near reception is place for playing adults and quite big place for children with many toys. Outside there is playground in good position, you can drink beer or some good wine and keep an eye on children similar inside :-). I recommend this hotel for its position, price, children friendly and also for cuisine.

“Great SPA Services”

The 4 rating is especially for services and value vs prices. The hotel is quite old, a lot of things need to be improved, they have 3 stars. The 4 rating is especially for services and value vs prices. The hotel is quite old, a lot of things need to be improved, they have 3 stars. Few things are refurbished - room furniture, mattresses, pool area. The stairs, corridors, doors, bathrooms, restaurants look like early 90s. The food is OK and overall services are in line with the prices. We really enjoyed the SPA-wellness area - we used most of it : gym, 2 pools with thermal water, saunas, Salt Room, massage was very good, 5600HUF for 40 minutes. The indoor pool area is new, clean, you can actually swim, not like in other spas. They give you towels as many times a day you need. As is it a little worn and cheaper than other hotels there are a lot of elders. Outside they have a nice park, terrace, better surroundings than most of the hotels, but we could not enjoy them at -5 Celsius :) the lobby area has rooms for spending time, kids can play games, table tennis, billiards, air hockey etc. WIFI in rooms is OK, coffee is OK :)

This hotel has been our favourite for many years. If I'm not mistaken, this was our 7th annual autumn relaxing holiday here. The hotel is comfortable though the rooms need some renovating: the carpets and upholstery are a bit outdated. However, we heard that they are going to renovate the rooms in the near future. It is also really comfortable that they have their own spa pools and you don't have to go to the city for having a relaxing and healing spa treatment. THe variety of food is good both for breakfast and dinner. You can find traditional Hungarian dishes along with some extras.

The kitchen and the service is acceptable, but we could not call it outstanding. Worth it for economy and/or budget tourists. They have a small pool but I rather recommend to visit the Spa, if you require extended opportunities in this field.
