Well maintained and managed hotel in a beautiful environment, just a stone’s throw away from Budapest / 1 hour drive /. Room was spotlessly clean, with quality bathroom amenities. We run into a once in a while BBQ show on their terrace, where Chef Sándor and guest Chef Zsolt served 10 of us within minutes with such a delicious meal, prepared in his own Bodrog Smoker, we were really impressed. Helpful staff everywhere, all in all highly recommended for a short break or even for a longer visit.

We have already stayed in standard room and junior suite in this hotel. We visited this 5 times altogether. Everytime the hotel was clean, the staff was helpful. I recommend to ask for a room with view of Kékes, because it's beautiful, but if you get a room with park view it's also very nice. Th… lisää

We have already stayed in standard room and junior suite in this hotel. We visited this 5 times altogether. Everytime the hotel was clean, the staff was helpful. I recommend to ask for a room with view of Kékes, because it's beautiful, but if you get a room with park view it's also very nice. The breakfast and the dinner offer wide range of food and every day there is something special, I mean wild food, typicall autumn food. I guess everybody must find something to eat. We also tried to bob game, it was very pleasent and we had fun. But it's important to book a time in advance because it's very busy. Wellness part of the hotel is also very busy during the day. Usually we visited it between 7-9 pm because it's the silent hours, only adult time. This time the pools are quite and you can swim free. The hotel has a forest garden, it's very good to have a walk there, sometimes the wild animals visit the hotel garden. The crew clean the rooms daily. It's not a big cleaning, but they make the bed and empty the trash.

A normal hotel with no 4* extras, the rooms are small and the prices are very high! There is a very basic bar in the hotel where they sell 4cl of rum for about 200€, you have to order at the counter and take it to the table yourself. We spent two nights during the Pentecost long weekend. Basically, the renovated hotel is not bad. We chose a junior suite, which looked good, the terrace was big, the food was delicious, the staff was nice, but there were a few things I didn't like or missed: - the air conditioner was not working in the room and it was very hot even when it was turned off, even if we left the terrace door open all night. Because of this, we couldn't even sleep properly. We talked, but they didn't do anything. - the water in the bathroom was not hot, only cold or lukewarm water. This was not resolved either. - there was no phone in the room to call the reception. - it is disappointing that they charge a 15% service fee for everything, even though the drink was not served at the bar at our table. - The wine ordered for dinner was not filled in front of us, so it is not clear that we got what we asked for.
