“Best hotel in Papa & delicious breakfast ”

A very nice, quaint 3-4 star hotel. The rooms are basic, and more like 3 star quality. The hotel staff offers 5 star Hungarian politeness, and made our stay very enjoyable. We loved the Hungarian food breakfast. There are limited offerings, but the food is delicious, delicious, delicious.

Great room had suite resturant and staff exceptionel great food lovely room in heart of papa. From reception too bar staff all friendly and helped greatly with my enjoyment of the town . I would highly recommend this hotel for buisness or pleasure .

Our party of five stayed at this centrally-located hotel for two nights and had three rooms. Our party of five stayed at this centrally-located hotel for two nights and had three rooms. We all enjoyed the overall quality of the rooms, the courtesy and politeness of the staff, hotel ambiance, and the great Hungarian buffet breakfasts. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. I have been staying at this hotel for over 25 years, on my family visits to Pápa and Vaszar. Front desk staff speak excellent English. The hotel is centrally located and within about 75 metres of the City’s main fire station, which has on display some of Europe’s first fire-fighting trucks. Since one of my cousins used to work at the station for 25 years before retiring, we got a free and detailed tour of the fire station. Not so much for me, as I have been through it before, by for the benefit of the other four. About a four-minute walk behind the hotel is the City’s pedestrian shopping street which also leads to Saint Stephen Church and Esterhazy Castle. The pedestrian street is also home to many eateries. However, if you like Hungarian cuisine, the City’s best is served at Hotel Villa Classica. Expect to see some NATO forces staying at the hotel. There is a NATO base a few kilometers outside the city between Pápa and Vaszar.
