“One night for a wedding good value for money”

Nice room price was as expected for Punta del Este.Best resort in the southern cone but worst hotel prices, as may happen in other resorts. Very cool room on to the street 32 degrees outside but very cool , I guess it was still dragging the winter effect. Bathroom was ok and has a 99%( no shuko)… lisää

Very cool room on to the street 32 degrees outside but very cool , I guess it was still dragging the winter effect. Bathroom was ok and has a 99%( no shuko) universal socket for all electric plugs, never seen that before. Close to everything in La barra walking distance from beach for those on foot. The bed could of been better nice size but hard in the middle. The only thing really disliked was ben charged in advance, for 2 o 3 runa ways you cant treat everyone as crooks. That said I asked for an extra hour to check out and got it.The reception guy was very nice. BTW remember La Barra is 20 minutes ( ni traffic) away from Punta del Este

“Good value for money, good location”

I want to explicitly mention the friendly staff - Rocio was very nice and helpful. Good location near Montoya Beach and within walking distance of a small shopping mall and restaurants. The hotel and the room itself are nothing fancy, but it's definitely good value for money. Everything was clean. Rather simple but tasty breakfast. WIFI working well. Big bed.

I found this place on Trip Advisor while staying in Montevideo so it was a bit of a last minute booking. It was the off season and so I think we were lucky to have secured a room at this late moment as this seemed to be a popular place for visiting Argentinians and Brazilians that we met over the well-prepared breakfast. Our stay was enhanced by the helpful owners who helped us to locate a rent a car during our stay, even driving us to the rental facility in Punta del Este near the bus station, about 7 miles away from the hotel. We will return here for the overall ambiance of the place and helpful and friendly owner/staff people. Thank you!!

Friendly and helpful personnel and nicely decorated. Breakfast –Continental with ham and cheese. It is all in a refrigerator next to the buffet. We almost missed it the first day. Nice patio. It starts at 9 AM Rooms were well decorated and spacious with a view of the sea and a nice balcony with 2 chairs and a table. Beware of the mosquitoes in this area. Lighting is good for reading. Bed –firm nicely appointed with good pillows Linen clean and white Refrigerator yes Wi-Fi-yes TV- yes modern with several channels. Plenty of room for bags. Tea Kettle- no Bathroom- small but well appointed Towels- Nice clean and white Amenities –soap, shampoo and conditioner Hair dryer – wall,but had good power Parking- yes

This hotel is located at the farthest end of La Barra. Since Punta del Este is somewhat overpriced, we were not surprised that this place was a bit pricey for what it delivers. This hotel is located at the farthest end of La Barra. Since Punta del Este is somewhat overpriced, we were not surprised that this place was a bit pricey for what it delivers. Staff is usually not available at the desk to assist you (you will probably need to look around for a bit, but eventually you will run into them). I guess this is just part of the surfer easygoing atmosphere that has taken over La Barra over the years. Our room was spacious, but far from the cleanest we have seen in our trip. Pillows did not have covers upon arrival, but were provided upon request. Breakfast was alright, but nothing special. This was just one of those regular stays you end up forgetting about pretty soon.
