“Comfortable stay”
This hotel located about 20- 30 minutes from the centro. Need a taxi or uber to centro or to the port. Breakfast is okay and more like basic. The pool looks nice. “Good choice for families”
The hotel is clean, with swimming pools (one of them indoor, with warm water) and at walking distance from the beach; perhaps, it lies a bit far from the town centre (say, 20 min by feet). “Nice”
The hotel was nice and clean, not elaborate, but clean. All of the staff was friendly and the reception staff spoke English well. They were also well versed in what was going on in the town. The free garage was a big plus.

“Decent for the price”
Punta del Este is ridiculously expensive, but we got a good price here as part of a package deal. The hotel is a little dated(~1990s) but has a excellent breakfast buffet, a real nice pool and foosball and pingpong for the kids. There is free wifi.
