“The good and the bad.”

The good: location was convenient. The employees were all very nice and tried to be helpful. It was quiet. The room and breakfast are were clean. The good: location was convenient. The employees were all very nice and tried to be helpful. It was quiet. The room and breakfast are were clean. Breakfast of eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy, pancakes/waffles was all fine. The bad to good: Our king mattress was sloped way down in the middle, to the point where my husband had to help be get out the first night! But after 2 days of complaining, they either flipped the mattress or replaced it, and it was much better. Beds are very high for a short person. The bad that didn't improve: We had our room keys (cards) re-keyed 4 times, and we still had trouble entering our room. One time I tried 9 times before getting a green light and another time 15x. My husband had the same issues. And I tried all the tricks they told me to try. All 4 days we had difficulty.

“Solid (incl. pet friendly) hotel!”

Decent if you need a spot to stay for 1-3 days. I got a room upgrade (through Booking.Com) from an exterior entry to an interior entry which was a nice start, they’re undergoing renovations as well, hallways and common areas smelt nice and clean, breakfast was amazing and so was the breakfast staff… lisää

Decent if you need a spot to stay for 1-3 days. I got a room upgrade (through Booking.Com) from an exterior entry to an interior entry which was a nice start, they’re undergoing renovations as well, hallways and common areas smelt nice and clean, breakfast was amazing and so was the breakfast staff, super friendly and nice and up for a quick chat. The price was decent as well so all is well…until I got to my room. Granted there was a big smart TV and the bed was comfortable but the thing that messes it all up was the door being uneven to close, had to adjust it but also when I walked in the room and immediately got smacked in the face with the smell of (pet) pee and saw hair in the bathroom and on the toilet😅. To be fair, this is a pet friendly hotel to my knowledge however that isn’t super clear and I wouldn’t have thought, had I not saw a dog being walked out by its owner a little later. I’m a fan of pets so that’s not a problem for me but not everyone is and not everyone owns a pet either. I don’t think anyone including myself enjoys the small of pet pee in a room. I bought a candle to battle the smell for the night so that everything wouldn’t smell bad and then think it was me😅. With all that being said though, this is a solid property for what you pay for.

“Great staff, crumbling apart pool area”

All of the staff had great customer service and friendly personalities. The hotel was under construction and it is very much needed. I mainly stayed to spend the day at the pool. All of the staff had great customer service and friendly personalities. The hotel was under construction and it is very much needed. I mainly stayed to spend the day at the pool. The pool and the area surrounding is falling apart. It hurts to walk barefoot in the area. The pool and hot tub water was clean. The outdoor furniture was really nice. The rooms were clean. I’m not fond of the scent used for cleaning. Just the structure of the hotel was run down. With that being said, I do feel the rooms are about $25 over priced.
