Here for a work conference so I didn’t use many of the amenities however I can say my stay was pleasant. Here for a work conference so I didn’t use many of the amenities however I can say my stay was pleasant. The room was spacious on the bottom floor facing a nature ravine , where deer hung out in the afternoon. The bed was comfortable the bathroom was large and the little things didn’t go unnoticed. There was a fridge in the room which was nice as was the complimentary bottle water. What I was impressed with was an automatic small light that came on in the bathroom for a few minutes upon entering… no fumbling for the light in the dark! Despite the hotel being sold out and doing some construction it was very quiet. The pool was clean and nice to enjoy until the monsoon rolled in. We did not eat at the resort but the smells were amazing. The self parking is a bit of a journey.. has the feel of a Las Vegas hotel walk to the lobby. The company paid for the room but I think the price was on par for the resort. Not sure I would want to vacation here as there are tons of conferences held here and I’m sure that can be a bit much for someone who just wants to relax. The area surround the resort has beautiful hikes and downtown Tucson is just 15 mins away. I would recommend this resort with the information that it can be over run with conferences..

The JW Marriott at Starr Pass is a beautiful resort in Tucson! The newly renovated rooms have clean coastal vibe We stayed here for our son’s graduation from the U of A and had incredible service! Brandt and Dean at the front desk assisted us with our reservations and made certain our families had rooms in close proximity to each other. We dined at the Signature Grill daily for breakfast and had quality service. Maya and Cody took care of us at the bar and Diego was our server at the pool. The service and attention to details(remembering food and drink orders) was fantastic! Thank you all so much for the weekend to remember!

“Will come back to see what's new!”

The location was secluded, which was what we really wanted at that time. The room showed signs of wear and the signature restaurant was closed. At the time, they were undergoing renovations. I am looking forward to coming back to see what's new.

“Day passes”

So they stopped selling day passes days before my friends came and we were staying at the resort. Basically forcing them to reserve a chair or a different spot for a grip of money. Shame on the resort. There were a ton of open spots. The day passes were for like 60$ but my friend had to pay 200$ f… lisää

Shame on the resort. There were a ton of open spots. The day passes were for like 60$ but my friend had to pay 200$ for a daybed she didn't even use so she could hang out. Refused to refund her also. May have to look elsewhere for future stay cation.
