“Decent hotel. A few issues.”

Our focus for this hotel was purely to sleep as we were visiting family and not able to spend much time here. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable, however the room had a few issues. Despite some of the reviews here, the pillows were not fluffy and were as flat as a pancake, making sleeping very challenging. The biggest issue was the shower. Upon arrival, we noticed black mildew in the corners along the ceiling and although there was not much of it, we were curious as to how it got there. We didn't have long to wait. Our first night there, my 10-year old son took a shower first and the water pressure was so strong, that he was crying due to the pain. The water coming out of the shower head felt like metal B.B.s. I put my hand under the water and it hurt badly, even with my high tolerance for pain. Secondly, the water pressure was so high, that water spilled out of the curtain sides and top (from ricochets) of the curtain rod. Water was all over the ceiling, the walls and the floor. We had to go to the pool to obtain nine additional towels to dry up the water on the floor so we could walk on it to get out of the small bathroom. Our temporary fix was to take a washcloth and cover the shower head, tying it up there with my daughter's hair tie. This satisfactorily lessened the shower pressure but the washcloth caused the water to spray everywhere in the bathroom, which was about the same effect as without the washcloth on the shower head. In any event, we made it work, although we still left the nine towels on the floor to keep it "dry". My last point is that, we pre-paid for this hotel and the charges should have been completed, however when we checked out, a random $46.00 charge showed up on my credit card. We are not exactly sure how or why this spontaneously displayed on our card but we will be reaching out the hotel here shortly if it does not display what the charge is for. One last thing, it can be a bit tricky navigating the streets to gain access to the hotel parking lot. It is a safe place and perfectly located, just give yourself some time to access it, via the stoplights and one-way entrance. Your mileage may vary with this location but we were a bit non-plussed with it.

“Good choice; close to highways and dinner options”

The hotel was well situated near highways, places to eat and not to far from downtown. Rooms are quiet and well set up. Breakfast buffet was good. There is a pool and exercise rooms. The only downside was that when we got there before noon on Sunday the front desk just told us we were there too … lisää

The hotel was well situated near highways, places to eat and not to far from downtown. Rooms are quiet and well set up. Breakfast buffet was good. There is a pool and exercise rooms. The only downside was that when we got there before noon on Sunday the front desk just told us we were there too early. Usually, if rooms are available early check in is offered. Since the hotel was mostly empty (as per the few cars in the parking lot) I was surprised they didn't even check availability and just sent us on our way to come back later. (When we came back later someone else was at the front desk who was friendlier!)

“A good choice for a visit to Bentonville”

Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated & the bath is equally well appointed. We rolled our bikes in for the night and there was still plenty of room for the two of us. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated & the bath is equally well appointed. We rolled our bikes in for the night and there was still plenty of room for the two of us. Everything in the room worked as it should, including a good selection of TV channels. Our room seemed like a very good value for the price, with a sofa/sitting area to watch TV, a king bed and a well-stocked breakfast buffet. The front desk was friendly and helpful. This hotel is constructed with concrete floors, so the rooms are quiet. There is a fire sprinkler system throughout, a smoke detector system and card readers on the exterior doors, making this a safe place to stay. I deducted 1-dot off my review because the hotel location, near a busy intersection, makes entering and exiting the parking lot a bit of a challenge during busy traffic times. That said, there is a "back way" to exit the lot that brings you right to a stop light, but it's a little tricky and involves driving through the parking lot of a neighboring hotel.
