The Villager Motel is the perfect place to stay in Bar Harbor. It is located within walking distance to the shops, restaurants, and park. The rooms were clean, very well maintained and decorated to make our stay extremely comfortable. The employees were so very friendly and helpful with any questions. The continental breakfast was delicious, well organized, and plentiful. Parking was onsite. I can't say one negative thing about The Villager. It is top notch!

This is a wonderful gem of a hotel in Bar Harbor. We stayed in the "Annex" section, which is billed as being the no-frills part of the hotel, but it was lovely. This is a wonderful gem of a hotel in Bar Harbor. We stayed in the "Annex" section, which is billed as being the no-frills part of the hotel, but it was lovely. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and recently renovated, there were cute little touches throughout, and the hotel is right on the main drag in Bar Harbor. We had a good night's sleep every night we stayed, and all of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The breakfast the hotel provides is fantastic too!

Initially choose this hotel for the reasonable pricing and great location. To my surprise however, this motel ran like a very well oiled machine. Initially choose this hotel for the reasonable pricing and great location. To my surprise however, this motel ran like a very well oiled machine. Throughout the room and property were multiple ‘small touches’ that were noticeable and made this an excellent stay. Their breakfast was excellent and notable. If I were to return to Bar Harbor I would strongly consider staying here again.

We had the best stay at the Bar Harbor Villager! I booked my husband and I a room in the annex portion of the motel that had a full and twin bed- not only was the price unbeatable compared to other motels I was looking at, but the location was perfect. We spent our days in the national park, and evenings in Bar Harbor. We loved that everything was in walking distance and we didn't have to deal with parking in town. The Annex has parking right by the rooms. Since we were spending time in the park and in town, we just needed a nice clean bed and bathroom, and this room fit that need perfectly. Checking in and out was a breeze. Will definitely be recommending this place to others and will make sure we stay here when we visit again!
