I was recently in Plymouth for my niece’s wedding. I was happy to find that the Hotel 1620 was the site for accommodations, a party the night before, the ceremony (across the street), and the reception! Talk about convenient! The staff was fantastic, especially Cepta at the front desk, and Jeff at the lobby bar. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I am also excited to see the upcoming changes. Sounds like the hotel will be getting a remodel!

“Great renovations”

I’ve been coming here quite a few years. My kids live in Plymouth. I come to this hotel at least twice a year and they’ve been redoing the whole hotel. I’ve been coming here quite a few years. My kids live in Plymouth. I come to this hotel at least twice a year and they’ve been redoing the whole hotel. I’min one of the rooms today that have been redone. It’s beautiful as always. The staff is friendly and accommodating, especially front desk Dan i’ve dealt with him before he’s always accommodating and helps any issues. I have so tell this fantastic they’ve done so much to over the years and my grandkids love the splash pad.

“DAN THE MAN”

Dan deserves an amazing review for being an absolute lifesaver. Not only did he go out of his way to help me, but he also let me charge my phone when I needed it most. A small act of kindness like that can make a huge difference, and Dan was incredibly helpful, generous, and thoughtful. Five stars … lisää

“Nice clean hotel”

You should perhaps consider this as accommodation rather than staying at a hotel. Whilst they had a bar, it wasn't open on week days, They also didn't offer breakfast during the week either. They did have large function rooms so perhaps it's more of wedding/conference facility with accommodation? … lisää

You should perhaps consider this as accommodation rather than staying at a hotel. Whilst they had a bar, it wasn't open on week days, They also didn't offer breakfast during the week either. All that being said, the room was very clean, spacious and modern with good air conditioning. The bathroom had a lovely shower. The staff were very efficient and helpful. The hotel itself is clean and presentable and has an indoor pool but absolutely no outside areas at all. There is lots of free parking for hotel guests which is a huge plus in Plymouth. It is very close to the harbour and Main Street, with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. It's also close to the museums. There is a very nice beach/park area very close by if you'd like to be outside and enjoy the weather. Would I stay again? Probably not, just because it didn't suit my expectations but that's a personal choice and lots of people would be very happy with the offering and facilities.
