During one of the most difficult and uncertain times in my life, the Courtyard by Marriott St. Louis Chesterfield became more than just a place to stay—it became a place of comfort, care, and genuine human kindness. My family had to remain in St. Louis for several weeks due to my husband’s emergency heart surgery and the complications that followed. What could have been an overwhelming and emotionally exhausting experience was made so much more bearable because of one incredible person: Angela. From the moment we arrived, Angela went above and beyond in ways that are hard to fully put into words. She didn’t just do her job—she showed up with compassion, patience, and a level of care that felt deeply personal. She checked in on us, made sure we had what we needed, and created a sense of stability during a time when everything felt uncertain. There were moments when I was running on empty—mentally and emotionally—and Angela’s kindness made a real difference. Whether it was accommodating our extended stay, ensuring we were comfortable, or simply offering a warm, reassuring presence, she consistently showed up with grace and empathy. You could tell she genuinely cared about our well-being, not just as guests, but as people going through something incredibly hard. The entire hotel experience was wonderful—clean, peaceful, and welcoming—but Angela is truly what sets this location apart. Exceptional staff, great room! The location is awesome with local and chain restaurants within walking distance. The bed is comfortable and the TV has more channels than I've ever seen at a hotel. The shower is good and we enjoyed the patio at night. Our only complaint was the pool being closed dur… lisää

Exceptional staff, great room! The location is awesome with local and chain restaurants within walking distance. The bed is comfortable and the TV has more channels than I've ever seen at a hotel. The shower is good and we enjoyed the patio at night. Our only complaint was the pool being closed during a heatwave, but the team at the front desk and housekeeping shine beyond that little issue.

I like the location of the hotel. There’s a Chic-fil-A in the parking lot. When I checked in it took forever for the front desk staff to come out from the back to check me in. The room was clean. I like the location of the hotel. There’s a Chic-fil-A in the parking lot. When I checked in it took forever for the front desk staff to come out from the back to check me in. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The ac worked really well. The room was extremely loud. It sounded like I was sleeping on the highway. You could hear every semi and motorcycle that drove by, making it impossible to sleep. If you’re a heavy sleeper you probably won’t have any issues. I might give it another try, but only on the quiet side

We were her for the Smooth Jazz on Land concert at the Factory. Last year we stayed at a different hotel. We thought we would give this one a try. I thought when I booked that breakfast was included. It wasn't, not even coffee. There was not complimentary coffee. It was Starbucks in the lobby… lisää

It wasn't, not even coffee. There was not complimentary coffee. It was Starbucks in the lobby. Cleaning was every other day. On cleaning day, the housekeeper just unlocks the door without knocking. We left an item behind. I called and asked the person if she could look. She told me, housekeeping didn't report anything. I requested to look in a specify draw. I was hangup on. It took 4 phone calls, 3 days and some money to get the item back. It's a nice hotel but somethings need to be work out.
