“Great base for skiing!”

We exchanged our timeshare via Interval International (II) and were lucky enough to match into this resort. There is a parking fee that others have to pay, but since we exchanged in, we did not have to pay that or a resort fee. We stayed in a larger 1 bedroom villa and had a full kitchen and washer/dryer which was amazing. Although there was no housekeeping (and not even a midweek cleaning), we were ok with that. You could always call and have fresh towels delivered. We loved the gym which had free weights, medicine balls, etc as well as towels, sanitizing wipes, filtered water, and earbuds for watching tv on some of the machines. We also enjoyed the steam and dry sauna rooms as well as the hot tub. There was a hot tub inside as well, but we really enjoyed the outside one as you have a beautiful view of the mountains as you sit and relax. We had meal boxes shipped here so we could cook. They have most everything you need to cook. We asked for an extra frying pan which they happily brought. They provided as much salt/pepper, coffee, and laundry detergent as you need. This was really convenient for skiing. The shuttle to skiing in the AM is right across the street. From there, you could either take it to Beaver Creek or transfer at the Avon station to the other bus to get to Vail. On the way back, it was easier to just get off at Avon station and walk when returning from Vail. In any case, transportation was free. There were ski lockers either in the garage or on the 1st floor. The only complaint I have is that the activities were not great. At other resorts we have stayed at, we've had wine socials, movie nights, guided walks, etc. The only activities they had here were Bingo, trivia, S'mores, and a bunch of paid crafts. And there were no activities on 2 of the days. There was a "nature walk", but it was just a walk around the immediate area near the creek. It would have been nice if they had sleds we could rent or took us sledding or gave a snowshoe tour like they do at the Marriott in Park City. You can play billiards and ping pong for free, though. All in all, it was a great stay and I would definitely come back.
