The manager, Jacob, went above and beyond for my husband and I during our stay. I had a medical procedure done , and needed a wheelchair. Jacob hunted one down for me. The manager, Jacob, went above and beyond for my husband and I during our stay. I had a medical procedure done , and needed a wheelchair. Jacob hunted one down for me. THEN, because I was feeling too poorly to go out, he helped us order dinner at the restaurant and delivered it to our room. All with a gracious smile and attitude. Also, a clean, attractive hotel and room, a plus.

“A Little Irritating”

Stayed here a couple times before and it was a very good experience. Unfortunately, this time it was a little irritating. Stayed here a couple times before and it was a very good experience. Unfortunately, this time it was a little irritating. It started when my room request made at 1pm for a 3pm room arrival was not ready until 4pm. I website-chatted with the Front Desk on why the delay and she said they can’t release the room until the room was signed off (with a little smiley face). That’s NOT what I wanted to hear. I wanted to hear WHEN the room was going to be ready. Later that evening I was met with a shower so weak on water pressure, that it took much more time to get clean. Still later that evening, I woke up to “thumping” music (and again this happened in the early morning hours). I’m not saying this is an especially noisy hotel, but I wouldn’t recommend if you’re a light sleeper or like a very quiet morning. Finally, the $16 breakfast in the morning was a little meager considering the cost. I could go on with lesser irritants, but to conclude, OTHER than the above, the room was excellent overall. That said, I probably will not stay here again when most other Hiltons rate higher than this one. (An “average” 3-star rating should be considered BELOW-average for a Hilton. MOST are 4-star, i.e., above-average. I know; I’m a Hilton Diamond member.)
