If you’re looking for a stay that feels thoughtful, cozy, and elevated without being stuffy, Catbird Hotel absolutely delivers. Everything about this property feels seamless and well cared for. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the entire property has a relaxed, inviting atmosphere—nothing corporate or overly formal, but also not your typical bed-and-breakfast vibe. It strikes that perfect middle ground. The amenities really set it apart. Little touches like Vespa rentals, complimentary snacks, breakfast, and a well-stocked coffee bar make the experience feel special without being over the top. The fireplace lounge right when you walk in is such a cozy highlight, and the area is very walkable, which makes getting around easy. The rooftop was beautiful and the food on site was delicious. Catbird is very clean, beautifully designed, and clearly well maintained. We stayed over Christmas and had the most beautiful room—it made the whole trip feel extra magical. Overall, it’s a niche, thoughtfully curated hotel experience that feels both stylish and genuinely comfortable. I’d absolutely stay again.

I really liked the design and aesthetic at The Catbird Hotel. The space feels stylish and thoughtfully designed, and the room layouts are unique in a way that makes the stay feel different from a standard hotel experience. That said, the overall experience was harder to navigate than expected. Staff were often difficult to find, and the service did not feel especially warm or proactive. The projector in the room was surprisingly loud, and the TV still appeared to be connected to another guest’s profile/name. The guide showed cable programming, but only local channels were available. The biggest frustration was the kitchen and customer service experience. One morning, the internet was down, the kitchen was extremely backed up, and there appeared to be only one person preparing food for multiple waiting guests. After waiting quite a while, I checked on my order and was told it had not even been started yet, so I cancelled it because I needed to leave for a meeting. I was still charged for the order afterward. Trying to resolve the issue was also frustrating. I had to call multiple times to reach someone, and one call was disconnected while I was leaving a message. Overall, the hotel has a cool concept and strong visual design, but the operational experience did not match the aesthetic. I’m glad I tried it, but I’m not sure I would return.
