We stayed at the Holiday Inn as an alternative to the room we had booked in Mount Crested Butte. Wonderful experience. We rented the room on a ski trip in early January. It was a last minute reservation. Staff The staff was very helpful and pleasant. We asked to inspect the room before staying. They were accommodating and showed us the room. They were available to answer questions and helpful in assisting us with our needs. Cleanliness It was wonderful. The lobby was bright and inviting. The public areas were cleaned and smelled fresh. The room was also a very nice experience. The room was very clean. The room was clean, not just the bulk areas, but around the corners and baseboards. Very nice. The air was fresh. By that I mean that a lot of places you stay in now have strong aromatics to cover pet odors or other foul odors caused by poor hygiene and lack of cleaning ... those odors lurk in the carpets. Not so here. The room smelled genuinely fresh. The hotel has a hot tub and pool, but we didn't use these, so no comment there. The hotel is pet friendly, but as mentioned above, the pet odor was not noticeable during our stay. The breakfast was good and typical for this type of lodging. Again the cleanliness was refreshing.

Very clean with an outstanding breakfast offering. Highly recommend this facility. Ease of access and ample parking are just two other reasons for staying here when in the area. “Comfy mattress for a good night's sleep”

Very comfortable Beautyrest mattress. But the bed is high off the ground because the mattress and box spring are on top of another riser. If you have short legs, either jump up onto it or bring a step stool.

“Typical hotel, Kind of expensive”

Check in was quick and friendly. The room was clean but the decor is dated. The elevator was slow to arrive at each floor but WOW did those doors close fast! Faster than you could get the luggage cart through the door! Breakfast is your normal breakfast, the area was clean and had no pets allowed… lisää
