Fantastic, peaceful spot to unwind. Great amenities, park close by, and beautful walks close to Gore Creek. Friendly, accommodating staff too! Unit was well-equipped and quiet. Plenty of parking!

My family of 5, all adults, were in townhome A2. A three bedroom, three bath unit for 4th of July weekend. 4th of July in Vail is always great and Vail Racquet Club Mountain Resort is very nice. However, our Unit, A2, left a lot to be desired. I will say it was as clean as it could be and the bathrooms were decent, floor was clean, carpet was clean. It worked for us for the weekend. I will say on the negative side, the kitchen worked well enough but was lacking in some cooking supplies. Maybe this is normal for Vail Racquet Club Mountain Resort but there were absolutely no cleaning supplies in the kitchen other than dish soap, comet and pods for the dishwasher. We made due and used dish soap to wash our hands and the countertops. Also, there is some smelly mildew under the sink. My biggest complaint would be that the window next to the front door on the main level facing the street had no screen and no way to lock the window. Anyone can can walk up to the window, push it open and climb into the unit. The rest of the windows are not much better but they do lock. Most of the screens in the windows are missing, bent and torn so even though I opened all of them, I would close the worst ones at night because I didn't want bugs coming in through the openings. The unit is very dark and the filthy windows don't help that situation. The furniture is probably from the early 2000's and shows a lot of damage and wear. I don't believe this unit had been used yet this year based on the patio chairs and table which were stacked on each other and covered in dirt. I would suggest if you are assigned to this unit, to ask for a discount and bring some cleaning supplies. Vail Racquet Club itself is lovely, the pool is nice, gym is nice, grounds are very nice. Bus is easy. All and all a great place to stay.

I found The Vail Raquet Club online. It is a bit off the beaten path and approximately 4 miles from the village. It was clean and had a homey vibe. I found The Vail Raquet Club online. It is a bit off the beaten path and approximately 4 miles from the village. It was clean and had a homey vibe. There was a table and chairs on the front deck along with a grill. The back deck has chairs to sit as you watch and listen to Gore Creek. There is a bus stop nearby to take you to local nearby stops, if you did not want to drive. The second bathroom’s shower was not hot - lukewarm at best. The towel bar kept following down. Televisions are complicated to work - would suggest instructions. The refrigerator freezer did not have any ice cube trays….would like to have the ability for ice during our stay. When we return to Vail, we will consider staying here in the future.
