The Graduate is such an experience. It is so welcoming, nicely decorated, lots of wood and "old school" vibes. It is very clean and the staff are so friendly. Our room was beautiful from the wall decor paintings to the bed, linens, etc. The shower/bathroom was elegant, yes I said elegant. And the shower door had no water marks a little while after use. I need to know how they are made and where do you buy them! It was quiet and very comfortable. The location was great because we had to go to the Smilow Hospital and it was just 4 minutes away.

“Comfy college crib”

The Graduate was cozy, clean and comfortable, and the location is good - lots of restaurants nearby and nearly all of Yale within walking distance. The character of the hotel fits an older, New England college town.

I had a lovely time here on a solo research trip. I chose the hotel for its proximity to the Yale Center for British Art. I also found that it was close to many good restaurants and bookstores. I had a lovely time here on a solo research trip. I chose the hotel for its proximity to the Yale Center for British Art. I also found that it was close to many good restaurants and bookstores. The staff was friendly and accommodating, both at the front desk and in the coffee shop and bar. The lobby is charming, with cosy library corners. I got the feeling that it's used a lot by undergraduates for studying. I saw some complaints about the instant coffee. To me, it was cute, and if you want real coffee you can just go downstairs and buy some. In-room coffee in most hotels is terrible anyway. My room was small (just one queen bed), but with two comfortable chairs and a writing desk. The HVAC system was a little hard to figure out. The bathroom was spacious. I do want to point out a design flaw in the bathroom. Because of the way the shower door opens, you can't really use the towel hook beside it, because the hook is behind the door as you open it. That means you have to step out into the middle of the floor before you can reach your towel. They also need grab bars in the shower for safety. All in all, a very comfortable place. I would stay here again.
