We came to Spartanburg for my 60th high school reunion. We enjoyed our stay and found the location of the hotel excellent for our visit. The room was spartan but clean and comfortable. The TV had episodic glitches in sound and picture probably attributable to the hotel WiFi/internet. The decor of the hallways was pleasant but a bit visually disorienting. The carpet pattern was very pop.-art introducing a bit of vertigo. For a short while we thought our room had no drawers, but we found two small drawers at the bottom of the coffee/microwave/refrigerator tower. The bathroom facility was well maintained. The bath shower had good water pressure. We had breakfast in the hotel lobby buffet area and ordered from the menu. I was disappointed that no omelette options were available. My Sunday side up eggs were tasty but served on an unusually small plate with a ladel full of cubed potatoes. It felt as if “inflation” had shrunk the dish and the serving size. Just a perception that management did not intend, I am sure. The parking lot was free and generous size. There were about 3 Tesla charging stations available near the AC entrance in the lot. I had a Tesla adapter for my Ioniq 6, but I could not get the unit to charge. Surprisingly the front staff were ill informed about the EV charging operation. There was no EV charging facility for non-Tesla vehicles (unless you had your own adapter. Lastly I would say the AC is a little overpriced even though our stay was pleasant and comfortable. I am inclined to return.

Very beautiful hotel, however, expected a little more from the rooms. We booked a King room for 2 nights (Saturday/Sunday). We arrived a little early, but were able to get into our room. Very beautiful hotel, however, expected a little more from the rooms. We booked a King room for 2 nights (Saturday/Sunday). We arrived a little early, but were able to get into our room. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The room itself is very sparse. The bed was very hard, both my husband and I woke up with sore backs both mornings. The shower door kept opening, like the building is on a slant or something. We were there on a rainy Sunday, so not much to do in the area. The tv in the room kept freezing, don't know if it was the cable/internet or what. It also didn't swivel so that you could see it from the couch area. Towels were think and small. Overall, it was average, I expected a little more luxury at this price point. But could have stayed at the Holiday Inn and been just as happy.
