“Great place to stay”

We had a two bathroom unit with 2 beds and a pullout couch. We were only there for a weekend but if we had stayed longer the kitchen would have really come in handy. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The pool did feel a little narrow but we really enjoyed it.

The full kitchen is well stocked with utensils, gas grills by the pool have utensils as well. Both the pool and pool deck are clean and maintained and front desk staff is helpful. We will absolutely be back for another weekend get away.

“My Florida Vacation”

I had not been back to Florida for a vacation since 2002 I believe. I was scrolling through resorts in the Daytona Beach area and came across Holiday Shores. They had an open unit on the week I wanted to travel so I booked it. Everything looked great in the pictures but you never really know what you have until you get there. When I arrived and checked out my unit I was very impressed. It was clean as a whistle and laid out nicely. I booked a 1 bedroom unit. There are 2 queen beds in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room so you could sleep 6 if need be. The resort is right on the ocean shore. There is also a swimming pool on site. I was on the 2nd floor so my view of the ocean was a good one. 2 full bathrooms, nice sized kitchen and a living room dining room combo. There is an ice machine available down on the 1st level if needed. The unit was impeccably clean. It was quiet but you could still hear the ocean. TV in the living room and bedroom. Plenty of towels and wash cloths. My only real complaint is there are not enough electrical outlets in the living room dining room area. In order to use my laptop I had to move the dining room table over closer to the wall where the TV is located to get an electrical outlet for the laptop. Having said that I would definitely stay there again if or when the opportunity presents itself. It's a nice resort and the staff is most helpful. I recommend it as a place to enjoy a great vacation.

The exterior looks like a crappy motel, but the 1 bedroom unit had 2 bathrooms and lots of space, even though the kitchen was quite dated with small appliances. The exterior looks like a crappy motel, but the 1 bedroom unit had 2 bathrooms and lots of space, even though the kitchen was quite dated with small appliances. The view of the beach and sunrise from my unit was breathtaking! I would NOT recommend it as a timeshare exchange, however, as the price to rent the unit for a whole MONTH was equal to my VOA fees plus exchange fee for a week!
