We normally go with family. This time it was my husband and me. We try to go at least once a year. We stayed in the main building Ocean Front can't beat the view. We normally go with family. This time it was my husband and me. We try to go at least once a year. We stayed in the main building Ocean Front can't beat the view. We love coming here its peaceful with lots to do. We ate most dinners and lunches at Wind & Wave Market at the pool. They have a different dinner menu every night. For $12 or less you can't go wrong for a home cooked meal. To finish the evening, we would play a round of Golf and go to the Green Cabin for a night cap.

“Bad experience turned into a Disney magic moment”

My family went to trade pins and unfortunately did not have a great experience with one of the ladies working in the gift shop. My family went to trade pins and unfortunately did not have a great experience with one of the ladies working in the gift shop. Everyone else was super nice but the lady in the gift shop (forgot to get her name) was rude to all of the you get children and would not let them trade pins. We spoke with someone who ended up being a manager just to ask if there was a policy on what age could trade pins. They said absolutely not and that she could trade and to go back. So I took my daughter back in there to trade and explained her manager told me she could do it since her older brother and cousin were able to. The lady still refused to let her (my daughter is 5 and the perfect age for learning about pin trading and Disney magic). She ended up leaving in tears to which the lady said “okay have a good day” in a rushed get out of here kind of way. At this point we were upset and made a complaint about her as no cast member should treat a child so poorly. We were asked to speak to Link if we went back to the resort so he could make magic happen for my daughter. We hesitantly took her back today and had nothing but a great experience with all of the staff who let her trade (they didn’t know about her previous experience). Then Link brought her 5 pins and told her to choose any 2 she wanted. She chose her 2 favorite characters and was excited. He asked to see her board and when she showed it to him he said it looked like it needed more pins and gave her the remaining 3 pins he had brought out. Of course she was so happy and we weren’t expecting him to give her so many pins. As we left the resort, my daughter then realized she had gotten diamond pins and started jumping up and down in excitement. She had been telling everyone about how happy he made her. So I am here to rave about this resort having such a great manager who apologizes and helps fix mistakes when one is made. Thank you Link for making my little girls day.

“First Visit”

Great experience if you are looking for something different from the parks. Access to both the beach and the pool are great options. Ocean water temp was beautiful at 83 degrees. Great experience if you are looking for something different from the parks. Access to both the beach and the pool are great options. Ocean water temp was beautiful at 83 degrees. Rooms were nice and recently refurbished. We stayed in a studio in the Inn. Lobby noise can get loud and can be heard in your room. All the staff are nice and accommodating. Con: the No seeums- annoying little bugs that bite. Resort offers bug spray but not very helpful. This deters you from being able to sit outside at certain times of day like dawn and dusk.The food options were ok- we went off site for dinner one night and would recommend that over eating dinner onsite. Overall happy with our stay- would come back.
