The Westin Lake Mary, Orlando North

“Wonderful stay”

I would highly recommend this Westin. Front desk staff did a terrific job at check in! Check out was the same. Hannah was very helpful. Most importantly the room was immaculate and well equipped. I would definitely return anytime I’m in Lake Mary.

The Westin in Lake Mary is very nice. I think it is pricey for what you get. Rooms are nice but no place to heat up anything. The room is clean, you can hear everything in the rooms next to you. The people at the front are very nice.

I had a major reservations snafu Saturday night during all the bizarre airport chaos and had already gone to another hotel where I couldn’t check in at 3AM. I had also double booked the night because of my west coast time change when I tried to book from the airport. I was already supposed to check into the Westin later that day and was desperate for somewhere well lit to work and be safe. I also don’t see very well at night; especially and received very little help or assistance finding my way around MCO that night even when I asked and told them I was visually impaired. Arriving at the Westin and receiving Anthony’s warm hospitality when I arrived to drop off my luggage was honestly like a huge warm hug after not knowing where I was going to find good shelter to be safe that late. I was able to charge my devices and get a hold of a friend to stay with before check in and the Westin was the safest I had felt that night. Later on that day, when I was actually able to check in I received that same authentic, southern hospitality I remembered from coming to Orlando as a child from Phillip. I travel a lot for a work and have stayed in dozens of hotels this year. You don’t find authentic warmth like this very often! There was also a young lady working the front desk who helped me buy some refreshments on 3-4 occasions. She had that hospitality spidey sense of taking care of me quickly because she knew I was in a hurry and had that same authentic warmth the two other gentlemen have. This warm, authentic hospitality is imperative; no matter how many stars a hotel has. Love is the message!

Westin used to be my go-to hotel chain. This hotel is nice and clean, but one of the primary reason I would search out a Westin was their white tea soap products. However, the scent of their product has diminished over the years, especially since they switched from a leaf design bar to a round ba… lisää

Westin used to be my go-to hotel chain. This hotel is nice and clean, but one of the primary reason I would search out a Westin was their white tea soap products. However, the scent of their product has diminished over the years, especially since they switched from a leaf design bar to a round bar. The scent is now barely noticeable. I no longer need to search out this brand anymore as they are comparable to other brands such as Hilton, Hyatt or IHG. Hope management will switch back to the old version of the scent.
