Nice hotel in Miami - not far from downtown and the cruise port. Room are functional and rates are cheap depending on the season - my King Room was $90 for one night. “I'd stay here again - airport and port close by.”

As a solo female traveler, this was a safe hotel in a good location close to the Port for a cruise. My room was clean and comfortable. I like that there were a few restaurants around to walk to. As a solo female traveler, this was a safe hotel in a good location close to the Port for a cruise. My room was clean and comfortable. I like that there were a few restaurants around to walk to. The hotel provided a shuttle service (at a cost), but still helpful. The only problem I had was that the staff shut down one elevator for them to use, making wait times long. On cruise day, there was a huge wait, and frustrated people carried their bags down the stairs. I complained, and the next thing I knew, an empty elevator arrived. They shouldn't allow the staff to use one elevator for their own services, especially during a busy time.

This was a nice, basic, affordable hotel that was perfect for a one night stay prior to our cruise. It is located in a residential area but there are a few restaurants within a couple of blocks that are easily walkable and there us a free trolley stops outside the hotel. This was a nice, basic, affordable hotel that was perfect for a one night stay prior to our cruise. It is located in a residential area but there are a few restaurants within a couple of blocks that are easily walkable and there us a free trolley stops outside the hotel. One very nice amenity that we didn't know about was the shuttle service that will take you to the cruise port. I believe they contracted with a shuttle service, it is not the hotel that runs the shuttle. It was $15.00 per person and you need to sign up prior to 11:00pm the night before. There were 3 different time slots to choose from, with the first being at 9:00am and they take you directly to the port. It's not a shuttle service that makes other stops along the way. There is also a free breakfast but that was very basic and not something I would advertise. The staff was very nice and helpful. The elevator situation is pretty bad. They are very slow and some of the problem is the housekeeping staff uses the same elevators the guests do. I would definitely stay here again prior to a cruise.
