Everyone encountered was pleasant. They have a cool pancake maker. Free breakfast with the usual fare. Pool table in lobby along with seating to watch TV or tables to play board games from the cabinet. Nice outdoor seating area as well. Laundry room and machines clean. Room and bathroom clean. Everyone encountered was pleasant. They have a cool pancake maker. Free breakfast with the usual fare. Pool table in lobby along with seating to watch TV or tables to play board games from the cabinet. Nice outdoor seating area as well. Laundry room and machines clean. Room and bathroom clean. Bed and pillows made for a good night sleep. Room located end of hall and quiet. Working refrigerator. Plenty of hot water for showers. Allergic to dog/cat -no carpet was helpful. Only issue encountered was turning left onto the 4 lane highway.

The positives: - Well lit parking lot. - Night auditor Ralph was friendly and efficient with check-in. - Hotel is new and in good condition. The negatives: - Room could have been cleaner. There were a few spots on the bathroom floor, but the most obvious oversight was a dark "scum line" on the shower floor. - Breakfast hours are 6:00 to 9:00. At 8:45, the breakfast attendant was already breaking down the pancake machine. She removed the pancake batter and did not replace. Orange juice was also empty. - My room was missing the "do not disturb" sign. Housekeeping starts at 9:00, no way to indicate room is still occupied.

We spent the last weekend at the Tru in Niceville. The hotel was nice. The free breakfast was good. But the staff was rather rude, I heard them till a customer that they didn’t have any extra towels midday, the next day we asked for more towels and were told the same thing. We spent the last weekend at the Tru in Niceville. The hotel was nice. The free breakfast was good. But the staff was rather rude, I heard them till a customer that they didn’t have any extra towels midday, the next day we asked for more towels and were told the same thing. We had a room that held four people and only had three towels sets. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were kind of flat. the rooms were small. I felt the lobby is nice and had a pool table. Overall, the location was good convenience where we were going and only about 20 minutes from Destin.
