We stayed 4 nights at the resort and we had a wonderful time! Everyone was pleasant, the pool was great, the staff at the pool bar was very friendly! AJ was very nice when he drove us to dinner in the golf cart! We had a bay front executive suite and the views were awesome! It was a great relaxing time! We will definitely be back!

“Rough start at the desk but still a 5 star review.”

Let me start with the bad. We checked in at about 1300 on Thursday 23 Apr 2026. The young woman checking us in clearly didn't want to be there and clearly didn't want to give the same welcome speech she had given many times before. She was blazing through whatever she said quietly and at about the same speed as the side effects warning on a TV commercial for prescription meds. I asked her to slow down because my hearing isn't great and she was talking way too fast. She , literally, rolled her eyes and continued to the end of her speech at which time I had a room key and a pink square of paper with numbers on it that I had no idea was for. Not a great first impression. Fortunately this was a one off experience and the remainder of our stay was perfect. The resort is beautiful. The pool area was great. Our room was generously sized and very well appointed. (I still recommend all nice hotels stop buying those packets for the coffee maker with powdered creamer and that horrible pink stuff for sweetener. You're better than that.) The staff, no matter who or where we bumped into them, was friendly, engaging, and helpful. Housekeeping, maintenance, lobby, bars, food service. 100% awesome. The food and drinks in the lobby bar were amazing. We ate there several times because we couldn't think of a good reason to go anywhere else and fight the crowds and traffic for lesser food. We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay again.

My husband and I stayed at Pensacola Beach Resort for three nights in April 2026. Check-in was seamless, and our room was clean and comfortable. The staff at Windrose and the Tiki Bar were exceptional. The food and beverages were of high quality. We ate breakfast and dinner each day at Windrose and would recommend it to all. However, the housekeeping staff fell short, demonstrating inadequate management. On the first morning, our bed was made, but essential items such as towels and toiletries were removed without being replenished. Although we reported the issue and it was promptly addressed with courtesy service, the following day's cleaning service was subpar. Despite our repeated absence and return to the room throughout the day, the room remained unattended until we requested assistance from the front desk. When the room was eventually cleaned, it was evident that attention to detail was lacking, with items disorganized and not properly arranged, basically thrown about. Given the resort's beautiful location and potential, it is clear that top-tier service is essential. Unfortunately, the current housekeeping standards detract from the overall experience, preventing it from achieving its full five-star potential.

Lovely resort with beautiful views and beach. Enjoyed the restaurant. Wish there was a small snack/coffee/sandwich type shop like in many resorts. Lovely resort with beautiful views and beach. Enjoyed the restaurant. Wish there was a small snack/coffee/sandwich type shop like in many resorts. Bartenders at the restaurant and the tiki bar were very friendly but I can't say that for the rest of the staff. While no one was rude, they also didn't go out of their way to smile or speak. Check in was awkward....no directions to elevator, parking directions, wifi info, the typical details one receives at check in. No smiles or friendly banter. Overall I would stay there again. Maybe they were just tired after a month of spring breakers.
