From check in to check out our experience at the hotel was excellent. The night clerk was helpful and courteous. Coffee and tea was available 24 hours a day in the lobby. The night clerk gave us packages of coffee for the room's coffee maker whenever we needed them. The hotel was very clean as was the room. We had everything we needed provided. The room and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was quiet. We were only there for two nights, Saturday and Sunday. There was plenty of free parking, too. We never did use the hotel's amenities such as the pool, however. The price for the room was good. We'll definitely stay at this hotel the next time we visit Port Charlotte. We were there visiting friends who live there. We preferred to not stay at their house. I highly recommend the hotel.

For years there have been signs up about renovations in progress "pardon the noise". They don't seem to be doing such at this point, but the signs are still up. I am a repeat customer so obviously it is good enough for me, at the price. The rooms are pretty comfortable, with a micro fridge (no freezer) and microwave. The heat / AC is functional but the only way to make the noisy fan stop is to unplug it (I did not remember this from previous visits so maybe just a faulty unit, I don't know). Although the room was to be made up every 3 days, in fact housekeeping came in every day and emptied the trash and changed some of the towels, though there were often fewer towels than before they came and eventually zero hand towels. There is significant sound bleed from adjacent rooms so you might prefer the noisy fan. The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty much "meh" with no hot food one day (staff shortage) and some stuff like yogurts and bagels present some days, and not on others. Usually some microwaved eggs and sausage. Enough to get by but nothing fancy. There is a fair amount of traffic noise but it is convenient to be next to the Interstate if you need to get around the area.. I would stay there again.

“Barer bones but comfortable”

Stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. I'm often up in the middle of the night. Separate bedroom was perfect. Clean and the firm mattress was a real plus.

The only thing really good about this hotel was the gentleman at the front desk around 11pm. The only thing really good about this hotel was the gentleman at the front desk around 11pm. I had just gotten off a very long day of work and just needed some quiet sleep before I went back to work early. The first room I got smelled horrible. And when I say horrible, I mean repulsive! Like a herd of wet dogs had spent the week in there. I knew there was no way I could sleep so I went back to the desk. The gentleman was very understanding and spent a good amount of time finding a room that had no guests on either side so I could get some rest. The room and property itself were pretty bland but I couldn't tell you much more in the few hours I spent there. Parking lot was very dark and seemed to be in a creepy area but GREAT front desk, everything else was mediocre at best.
