Hotel is in the absolute best location. Right in the center of old town. You literally walk out the door and you are in the middle of it. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Hotel is in the absolute best location. Right in the center of old town. You literally walk out the door and you are in the middle of it. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Rooms are clean, large, lots of storage and a/c works well. We mentioned we thought maybe our room might get noise from the outside road and they immediately offered to move us. We moved to room 117 and it was very quiet. Breakfast is very good and the little bar is great. If you want a view ask for a second floor front facing room. We would highly recommend and will most definitely come back.

Overall this is a very nice hotel. No coffee until 7 AM, though? Gimme a break.

We stayed here for a short getaway recently. The rooms were a nice size with plenty of room to move around. We stayed here for a short getaway recently. The rooms were a nice size with plenty of room to move around. I chose a view of the bay, and as nice as that was, the street noise may bother some, especially at night. We found the staff to be courteous and accommodating. The location is perfect for perusing the old town area and easy to navigate from if you wished to go on side trips.

“Good stay.. lost the charm”

I’ve stayed here many times however this is the first time I’ve stayed since the renovations. I’m not sure how I feel about that. The fountain that was in the middle of the entrance is gone. The wall that separated the dining area from the lobby is gone. I miss that because it was a good separation… lisää

I’ve stayed here many times however this is the first time I’ve stayed since the renovations. I’m not sure how I feel about that. The fountain that was in the middle of the entrance is gone. The wall that separated the dining area from the lobby is gone. I miss that because it was a good separation for the two. The bar has been moved. All of the old charm is gone. The new bar is I guess modern. I’m just disappointed with the overall aesthetics. The pool and hot tub were amazing. The room was clean however I notice before taking a shower that the shower curtain had been ripped in two spots. I was told by the morning staff she apologized but just said yeah, it’s a special order???? Okay well then special order it. Starbucks is the same. It was a good starter to the day. Breakfast was amazing as always. However they need to expand their menu for dinner. I miss the prime rib. I would stay here again as always I just hope as they continue with their changing of the hotel that they keep the charm.
