We are a tried & true Disney World family, but decided to try Sanibel. We fell in love with Sanibel, and a large part had to do with our condo we rented at Sundial! Our place was spotless, well equipped, and had a great view! We saw the available amenities but didn't take advantage of them due to a short stay (4 nights). Our next visit though to Sanibel will be longer, and at Sundial when we will take more advantage of the amenities! The condo was very reasonably priced for what was offered!

“Paradise at it's Finest!”

Paradise at it's finest. Perfect for a solo getaway where rest, relaxation, and pampering is needed. The team is extraordinary and the view cannot be beat. Lunch poolside, walks on the beach, and bike rides around the island create moments and memories that will last a lifetime.

We were very happy with this resort. Below are some pros and things to keep in mind. 1. The beach is beautiful. Shelling is so much fun. 2. The main pool is great. It’s pretty big and the kids love the little water slide. 3. There are 2 smaller pools where it’s calmer, no music, and easier to get a lounger. 4. The beach has loungers and umbrellas. 5. It’s very clean! 6. Shima restaurant was a lot of fun. That was probably the best food in the resort. Everything else is rather bland. 7. Our room was really nice with an equipped kitchen and a screened in balcony. Keep in mind 1. There is no housekeeping. Our materials said every three days but no one ever came. You can request more bath towels but it takes hours to get them. 2. It’s a very large resort. Our room was about as far away from the main pool as you can get. If you have little kids or older folks in your group you may want to upgrade to a closer room location. 3. Kayaks and paddle boards were fun but hard to get during the best weather. There’s only a few of each. 4. People reserve the loungers early in the morning which is really annoying! 5. Information on the website is not always accurate. Double check for restaurant hours and special things like a Shrimp dinner.

Great location and wonderful view of the Gulf. Nice hot tub and pool. The place turns out the lights aroud dusk and so evenings are dead. These are condo units in a resort. Great location and wonderful view of the Gulf. Nice hot tub and pool. The place turns out the lights aroud dusk and so evenings are dead. These are condo units in a resort. So some units lack basic amenities such as electric service on the side of the bed. I use a CPAP machine and since I found out there was no electricity on my side of the bed, I asked management for help. At first they tried to put me off by saying their engineering staff had already gone home. I explained that it was medically necessary and they sent up a Safety staff who was very helpful in moving the bed so I could access the plug behind the bed. Then upon checkout we were locked out of our rooms while loading our vehicle. It was only 15" before checkout time so we should not have been locked out. Safety was notified again and came to our rescue. This was rude on the hotel's part and nobody even knew why it happened. I suspect the key cards were programmed to stop working 15" too early.
