Big Pros- I love that all the rooms have a trundle twin bed under the couch (not to mention the couch itself is also the size of a twin bed). Worked out great for our family of 5. Our bathroom was separated from the toilet which was also nice for big families. Desk staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was extremely clean. Beds were super comfy and ac cools very quickly. The provided bath products are to DIE for. Rooms have soft lighting which we loved. Hate when we get rooms that are either very dark or super bright. The room is very large with lots of extra room for a big family. Negatives- let me include...these did not bother me at all, but I could see how they may be issues for others so want to include it. But didn't take any points off my rating. Bathroom and toilet doors slide. They are not the typical bathroom doors and do have a small crack in the corners. Wasn't an issue for us but I wouldn't want to shower in there if I was with a coworker or a non family member lol. No bathtub in our room. The shower was huge though, but I could see that being an issue if someone has a little one. The trundle bed is essentially a mattress in a box with wheels. The sides are very hard. Probably not great for an adult but the couch was equally as big and comfy for an adult. We did not have a safe. We may have been able to ask for one, wasn't a huge deal though so we didn't. Overall...this hotel was wonderful and I would have to say, one of the best I've been too for the price. Definitely worth staying here :)

“Great Location”

Had to be in Tallahassee for a trial and stayed here for 2 nights. Centrally located near the courthouse and downtown. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby. The rooms are nice size with a small seating area in the front of the room.

“Save Yourself the Trouble and Stay at a Different Hotel - This One Smells”

I booked 4 nights at this hotel because I was visiting FAMU and had 5 people in my party. There's another Springhill Suites in Tallahassee that I stayed at previously, but it seemed to be a bit further than this Tallahassee Central one. I booked 4 nights at this hotel because I was visiting FAMU and had 5 people in my party. There's another Springhill Suites in Tallahassee that I stayed at previously, but it seemed to be a bit further than this Tallahassee Central one. Therefore, I decided to give this one a try even though I had liked the other one. Next time, I'll be staying at the other one. Although the staff at the Tallahassee Central location were nice enough, the hotel itself is crappy. It's just too dated and barely kept up. The rooms smelled terrible - they were musty as though water had seeped into the fabrics and carpets and could not be changed. Even though the other location is further out, I'd rather stay there. Moreover, if I need a room for 4 or less people, I likely wouldn't even bother staying at Springhill Suites again.
