This is like a 2nd home and so comfortable! I really enjoy coming here and Chris and Matt give the utmost in customer service. I was in Room 116 this time. Right across from Venice Beach. There is a continental breakfast available in the morning and donuts and bagels are brought from Yummies, which is a local place in town. They also have cereal, juice, milk, some fruit, and a coffee machine. They also have towels for the pool and hot tub available, as well as chairs and beach tools to take to the beach. The hot tub was not working this time and I got in it anyway for the jets! The pool is very refreshing after a hot day of being at the beach.

“A wonderful and joyful surprise”

I think it was actually May 2023. He was a last-minute detour from our return to Ohio and boy were really surprised and pleased. Right on the beach, beautiful accommodations and room rooms totally supplied elegantly stylishly comfortably.

We loved our time at The Inn on the Beach !! We had a nice kitchen and great bed, plus there was a perfect continental breakfast in the morning. The staff was so friendly too at you walk right across the street to the beach ! The pool and hot tub were fantastic too !!

We had stayed here a year ago for 1 night. This year we stayed for 3 nights in Feb. After 2 nights we knew we'd need to change rooms. We had stayed here a year ago for 1 night. This year we stayed for 3 nights in Feb. After 2 nights we knew we'd need to change rooms. Upon check in we were told that we could use our room the day of the move as long as needed. We were heading out to an appointment in Sarasota at 10 am, popped into the office to let them know. They wanted us to move out then, but we would have been late for appt. The man at the front desk said they could get our things moved. We were mostly ready (suitcases packed but not zippered) and didn't want them handling our things. I mentioned that 4:00 would be the check in for the room we were vacating and we'd be back by 12:30 or 1. He was concescending and said, well, we have to have it ready by then so you need to be out. Very very unproffesional attitude and not appreciated. He said the man that checked us in shouldn't have told us what he did. We are very good guests and didn't appreciate the tone. The woman who'd been at the desk and heard the conversation then called my husband as we were driving and asked him if they could move our things. She knew what I told them, but was hoping to pressure my husband into a different response. Not acceptable. The rooms are nice and clean and proximity to beach is good. We did our homework and read that there were beach chairs available, with an apology. When I went to get 2 for us both days, we were told there were none available and none had "come back yet". We tried again later with no luck. There are a couple of benches on the beach luckily, but not the beach days we envisioned. We won't be back to this hotel unfortunately, they need to work on their customer service and buy more chairs.
