We are on the second floor. This hotel has a lot going for it, a decent location being the main single item that was the best. It had a nice TV and a comfortable bed, and lots of hot water with good pressure. The parking lot is small for the number of rooms that it serves. We arrived at 2AM and got the last parking space in the entire lot. We had to slip in between two cars that were on, and across the lines. When we walked in the gentleman at the counter seemed to be aggravated that we interupted him from doing nothing. Our roon is what I would call a mini-suite. The total amount of space for the amount of furniture causes it to feel very cluttered. The closet is small, and there was a total of two drawers in the room to store item sout of our suitcases. There was a nice amout of hangers in the closet for our hanging clothes. We were here for a wedding so we did have items that needed to be hung, and items that needed to be neatly folded and kept in a drawer. There is a very nice desk for your computer/workspace. At first we could not connect to the internet, but we chose to use a phone as a hotspot. It is slow, but it works. The breakfast is typical of a hotel breakfast, but the area in which they serve it is very nice. Housekeeping didn't come on the second day of our stay, and we were out of the room for most of the day. The TV offers a nice variety of stations/channels. You can also stream to the TV and use it as a speaker for your phone.

The hotel is conveniently located across the street from the Mall of Georgia. The hotel is off the main street of Buford Drive, with that in mind you will hear some traffic. The hotel rooms face either the pool or free parking lot. The hotel has been refreshed and it was clean in all areas (pool, breakfast area, and exercise room). We had the larger king bedroom which has a wet bar, microwave, mini fridge, and counter area. It also has a pull out sleeper sofa. Our room was clean and tidy. The bathroom has a low step in shower with glass shower doors, and bathroom shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Room tip: the higher floor was quiet (the hotel has 5 floors). For extended stay make sure you have plates, utensils, cups and paper towels. we were close to the elevators and ice machine but it was still quiet, and this was the Labor Day holiday weekend. This area has all stores from walmart to Dillards, and eateries from fast food to higher end restaurants. Nearby there are parks, and family friendly things to do. Customer service was good from the front desk, housekeeping and breakfast clerks. We recommend this hotel and thank Springhill for a pleasant weekend stay.

We were overall happy with our stay. The desk employees were friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and a nice size. Breakfast was your typical "included breakfast" but they did keep it clean and stocked. We got a room on the highest floor which I'd recommend because of street noise in front of the hotel. Another family member who also stayed at the hotel had an issue with people in the room next to them making a lot of noise at 4AM. Some people are just horribly inconsiderate. They should have been reported to the hotel front desk.
