Perfectly located on I85 some 2.5 hrs north of Ft. Benning, GA. It's a great stop option after a long drive. Multiple restaurants, gas stations and nearby stores should you need to buy something before continuing your journey north or southbound. Immaculate clean rooms, friendly personnel and complimentary breakfast, with 24 hrs access to a coffee pot. The hotel honors discounts for active duty military and government officials with ID. Highly recommended.

“Exceeded expectations”

We needed a place to stay on the way to move our child back to college. Commerce presented a convenient and affordable option, and as loyal Marriott people, we booked the Fairfield Inn. We were warmly greeted by the desk clerk who thanked us for our loyalty, upgraded our room without us asking and provided a bag of snacks and bottled water. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Despite being next to the highway, it was actually very quiet. After spending the entire day on the road, the entire experience was just what we needed! We had to depart early the next day, and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Like many hotels these days, it consisted primarily of prepared and individually wrapped items, but there was a good variety and everything tasted pretty good - the hot items were actually hot and the cold items actually cold. The staff were on top of things - quickly replenishing the coffee when it ran out. We were wished a safe journey on our way out and thanked with a smile. Definitely recommend for weary travelers or visitors to the area!

“Mostly good”

One night stay in a corner 2 room suite, king bed.  The room was adequately clean and large.  Even though we weren't there long enough to need it, I really liked that there was a second smaller closet in addition to the main fairly roomy closet.  The bed was very comfortable.  There are 2 thermostats, though it was hard to regulate the temperature in the two areas.  The breakfast choices were ok; scrambled eggs, sausage, assorted breads and fruits, waffle maker, yogurt and cereal.  Every employee we encountered was pleasant. My only complaint was for a couple of cases of bad odors in our room, number 201.  The first was the distinct odor of skunk, (or skunk weed?).  I checked the hallway and the smell was not noticeable there.  Later in the evening the overwhelming smell of automobile exhaust- I guess from the parking lot or the very nearby interstate.  The living room window, although not open, can open directly onto several outdoor HVAC units and that may have contributed to the problem.  Both times the smell only lingered for 2-3 minutes and did not return.  The exhaust smell was bad enough that if it had occurred a second time I would've requested a room change.  Overall, a decent place for a single overnight stay.

“Unhappy with Management”

Very disappointed with the fairfield inn commerce GA. We always stay here when traveling to GA. Management has failed to contact us due to system locking us out of our room after mid night,desk clerk was unable to get us back in our room until 7am the next morning. Its now 2 am and we have a 5yr ol… lisää

Very disappointed with the fairfield inn commerce GA. We always stay here when traveling to GA. Management has failed to contact us due to system locking us out of our room after mid night,desk clerk was unable to get us back in our room until 7am the next morning. Its now 2 am and we have a 5yr old and 10 yr old child with us, and family in an adjoining room .She put us in a temporary room for the night. Desk clerk kept trying to access the room by working with the lock mechanism, she woke up our other family members in the next room in the process as she was trying to remove the batteries from one door to see if it Would work in the other door. Very frustrating night.She was able to get us back into our room at 7am. And needed our temporary room back, so now we have to wake up two children with 5 hrs of sleep to move them back to our original room. We were all frustrated and tired and was due to check out this morning and drive 4 1/2 hrs home. We were told Management has been left a note of all the goings on over the weekend and she will be in Monday around 8:30 and she will contact us. It is now Wednesday and no response from Management, but they were quick to charge my card first thing Monday morning.
