We stayed at the Country Inn and Suites in Dalton, GA on our way home from Florida. Rate was very reasonable. Mira was on the desk the night we arrived. He was friendly, attentive, and very efficient at his job. He was prompt to rectify a couple of small issues (new batteries for the remote, smoke smell in the elevator) and very helpful concerning my gluten intolerance for expectations of the coming morning’s breakfast. He made sure to give us a room that was quiet, because he knew we were very tired and my husband was sick. He deserves a raise! Room and bed were clean and comfortable, with several different pillows to choose from. Thanks for the blackout curtains. It had a pool, work out room, business center and quiet reading area adjacent to the front desk with a fireplace. Breakfast had lots of options: scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, 4 kinds of cereal (including gluten free Honey Nut Cheerios), granola bars, bread and toast, several kinds of fruit, oatmeal, a variety of large muffins, bagels, coffee, tea, milk, juice and hot chocolate! It was one of the best breakfast’s we’ve found on the road! We will definitely mark this spot for future stays on our trips through this area! Only negatives for us were: The stairway and elevator carpet were stained. No chocolate chip cookies on the weekends!!

“Hostess at the desk went out of her way to be kind!”

This past Sunday night (8-31-25), our family spent one night here. The lady at the desk was so very kind and went out of her way to make something very special happen for me. I didn't manage to catch her name, but I hope that she sees this and knows that her kindness is very much appreciated. In addition, we enjoyed our time in the pool, and the breakfast was good.

Nothing fancy but clean & comfortable. I always appreciate automatic front doors, making it so much easier to wheel luggage cart in & out. Covered portico means no getting wet in bad weather. Nothing fancy but clean & comfortable. I always appreciate automatic front doors, making it so much easier to wheel luggage cart in & out. Covered portico means no getting wet in bad weather. Fresh cookies & coffee in the lobby. Fridge/micro & in-room coffee. Free wifi w/ample signal & easily accessible outlets bedside & at the desk for charging devices. Sparkling clean bathroom & generous supply of bright, white towels. Slept well on super comfortable bed w/nice linens & lots of fat, fluffy pillows. Grounds beautifully manicured. Parking lot well lit & I felt my vehicle was safe. Didn't use the indoor pool or exercise equipment but both were available & pool looked inviting. Standard light continental but there's a Cracker Barrel nearby if you prefer a more substantial sit-down breakfast. Red Lobster next door. Staff was friendly, helpful & efficient: kudos to Mira, Kelly & Darlene at the front desk. Have stayed here before & will happily stay here again.

“Bring a sleep mask and ear plugs”

Lots of highway traffic noise (even with earplugs and my own fan). The sink leaked and towels are stored below the sink (gross). Bring something to tape over the thermostat as it’s a bright blue beacon in the night.
