“Quiet comfortable space for Kauai South Shore getaway”

Comfortable studio in quiet area of hotel and vacation condos resort. Compact kitchen, we made it work for breakfasts and most dinners. Our unit overlooked a peaceful interior garden space. Nice balcony for some outdoor space. Quiet pool for condos, busier pool at hotel on beach with restaurants.

Aloha We visit 2-3 times a year. The staff in guest services are now Ohana (family) to us. The location is great. If you like to walk it's a great place to stay. Restaurants, shops and a bale of turtles right there in Poipu beach. Lifeguards too! If you don't like to walk no problem. Great restaurants, Hanapepe and Waianae canyon a short drive away. Or never leave the resort and enjoy the pools or beach. Sometimes traffic but sometimes no traffic. But not like Oahu. It's not fanciest place but they do offer yoga daily along with lei making, hula dancing and other activities. They also have a Luau on site. It's always been quiet when we're there. Maybe we see you in April or July or November.

“Good value on the best beach”

This resort has mixed reviews so I was a bit concerned. Upon check in the staff were helpful and arranged a room change and gave us a box of chocolate macadamia nuts. The room was clean and quiet. This resort has mixed reviews so I was a bit concerned. Upon check in the staff were helpful and arranged a room change and gave us a box of chocolate macadamia nuts. The room was clean and quiet. As noted the rooms are small and I wouldn't want to stay in a 1 bedroom with 4 people as there would not be room to move in the living area. The kitchens are very well equipped to make meals and there were sufficient BBQs available. We were concerned about eating at the counter but got used to it. In room laundry was a welcome bonus. We had a partial ocean view but not many rooms do - most look at the pool or garden. We loved the fact that the pool was not busy during the day - the main Sheraton pool is not large and can be crowded. Reading and relaxing by the quiet pool was wonderful. We went over later in the afternoon to the main pool on the ocean and had no trouble finding a spot. The best thing about this resort is the location in Poipu beach - it is a wonderful beach with great snorkelling at the far end and other areas within a short driving distance. We felt it was good value for the money and would stay here again.
