“Perfect Babymoon!”

Hotel rate seemed pretty high but it could of been because of the Kauai Marathon while we were there. Sheraton fit all our needs and we were impressed with the room! Hotel rate seemed pretty high but it could of been because of the Kauai Marathon while we were there. Sheraton fit all our needs and we were impressed with the room! We were in a studio king which we would stay in again. Every amenity you can need for a long term stay & the beds were very comfortable. Washer/dryer in unit, little kitchenette, AMAZING balcony views of the pool with birds chirping every morning. Staff was all very friendly and we were very happy to pop right over to the main hotel for the beach and restaurants. Rooms are updated, clean and include robes (yay). Would 100% stay again, next time with our whole family :) thanks for an unforgettable stay. Food and service at Rumfire next door was 10/10 - kudos to the manager

“Good value on the best beach”

This resort has mixed reviews so I was a bit concerned. Upon check in the staff were helpful and arranged a room change and gave us a box of chocolate macadamia nuts. The room was clean and quiet. This resort has mixed reviews so I was a bit concerned. Upon check in the staff were helpful and arranged a room change and gave us a box of chocolate macadamia nuts. The room was clean and quiet. As noted the rooms are small and I wouldn't want to stay in a 1 bedroom with 4 people as there would not be room to move in the living area. The kitchens are very well equipped to make meals and there were sufficient BBQs available. We were concerned about eating at the counter but got used to it. In room laundry was a welcome bonus. We had a partial ocean view but not many rooms do - most look at the pool or garden. We loved the fact that the pool was not busy during the day - the main Sheraton pool is not large and can be crowded. Reading and relaxing by the quiet pool was wonderful. We went over later in the afternoon to the main pool on the ocean and had no trouble finding a spot. The best thing about this resort is the location in Poipu beach - it is a wonderful beach with great snorkelling at the far end and other areas within a short driving distance. We felt it was good value for the money and would stay here again.

“Poor internet, easy parking…”

Kauai is beautiful! Poipu is lovely. This property as a Vacation Club isn’t all that great. We travel a lot. Both have status at Marriott —- did not expect to have that recognized on this trip. But we do expect to have good internet. We work remotely and count on good internet — throughout the reso… lisää

Kauai is beautiful! Poipu is lovely. This property as a Vacation Club isn’t all that great. We travel a lot. Both have status at Marriott —- did not expect to have that recognized on this trip. But we do expect to have good internet. We work remotely and count on good internet — throughout the resort and in the business center it was horrible! Don’t plan to work or be on zoom calls etc. Our room was on the bottom level and very small. You can’t shut the bathroom door so if 1 person wakes up earlier and wants to get ready with a light… everyone experiences the light. The timeshare presentation was fine. However the experience here as a visitor didn’t get me excited about buying in. Parking was easy. Plenty of chairs at the pool. Great location….but no views from the Vacation Club side.
