“Great stay - no issues”
The Hampton Inn & Suites St Louis/Alton is well-located, with numerous shopping and food options nearby. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. “Good and bad stay!”
Clean lobby with pot of chicken noodle soup. Room carpet was filthy! I Could never get warm water for a decent shower then the handle broke off completely! “Nice property. Have breakfast somewhere else.”
Nice property. Pleasant staff at front desk. Nice room. This is our sixth stop at a Hilton property this week. Breakfast was by far the worst. Stale pastries, very limited choices. Standard Hilton fare eggs looked burned. No yogurt. Few bagels.

“Completely unprepared for tournament”
We visited the Hampton Inn in Alton during the IHSA Bowling Sectionals tournament. We weren’t greeted at check in nor was our HH status recognized which is fine but she was not happy to be there so we received no info about breakfast or where the elevators were. “Great place”
Great place excepts night shift sleeps in the lobby. Everything else found as expected. Hotel is nice and staff is friendly. They seemed to be experienced. House keeping is good too. It's what one would expect from a hampton inn. Coffee us 24/7
