“Clean, Comfortable and Convenient!”

Enjoyed my stay at this newer Hampton in the northern suburbs...convenient to our work location and within minutes to Gurnee Mills and local restaurants, Wal-Mart within walking distance. Room was clean and functional for the most part (desk chair doesn't fit new taller desks and should be replaced quickly; bed was a little stiffer than I like). Breakfast and coffee were perfect. Not sure why a $3-4 "parking recapture fee" is assessed each night...the hotel should either eat that or add it to room rates; it's misleading.

The hotel was okay, it was clean and inviting. Watch out for the surprise parking recapture fee after checkout that they don't tell you about at checkin, or make sure to mention if you have a vehicle you are parking in THEIR own lot because they wont ask you. The hotel was okay, it was clean and inviting. I did reach out in chat and they did refund us. The hotel does have a pool, but no hottub and the pool was closed during the day for maintenance so we could not use. The breakfast was decent for a hot breakfast included. The bathroom door was weird. It was a sliding door that was also the door to the closet right next to the bathroom. the door also did NOT lock at all when used to close the bathroom. Might be better off staying at hotel next door or across the street.

We had an awesome stay, we always come back because we love the casino across the street, however there was several issues with the cleanness of the room, the green desk chair it’s disgusting very dirty I don’t understand how Hilton Allows that, we mention that to the manager I believe her name was Jamika and she said that the corporate won’t approve new chairs, really?? It took me 2 minutes to clean that chair. Front desk is always very friendly and courteous Thank you David and Curt!!!. Also why you allowed employees smoking outside of the door?? That’s a very bad image for the Hotel.
