Lobby was under renovation while we were there which made the breakfast area a bit lacking in decor but it was not a problem. They accommodated us. Service was good. We loved the room. Lobby was under renovation while we were there which made the breakfast area a bit lacking in decor but it was not a problem. They accommodated us. Service was good. We loved the room. Bed was comfy, bathroom nice. I loved the shower!! Very quiet and clean. We were in Fort Wayne for Christmas holiday visit with friends and family so they did not seem too busy.

“Plus and minus”

Good location. Wonderful desk employee. They are remodeling. We were on the first floor, which had been remodeled. Unfortunately there are a few things of concern. 1. The bed is very high so not easy to get on. 2. The king bed is only about a foot from the side wall, so the person sleeping on that … lisää

Good location. Wonderful desk employee. They are remodeling. We were on the first floor, which had been remodeled. Unfortunately there are a few things of concern. 1. The bed is very high so not easy to get on. 2. The king bed is only about a foot from the side wall, so the person sleeping on that side is in danger of slamming into it on their long journey to the floor. 3. Shower shows signs of wear. Paint on toilet handle is chipped. 4. The worst part is the bathroom floor. There was quite a bit of hair on it, which I tried to wipe up with a wet tissue. The tissue revealed how dirty the floor was.

The Comfort Suites Southwest is a good value compared to other options in the area. The staff were all courteous and professional. The Comfort Suites Southwest is a good value compared to other options in the area. The staff were all courteous and professional. The lobby and breakfast area were clean and neat, in spite of some remodeling in progress. The toilet paper holder in our room was broken but, otherwise, the room was clean and in good condition. The room was also very quiet in spite of being located near the interstate. The parking lot is in very poor condition and needs some attention but there are lots of dining options nearby.

“Grossly underwhelmed”

I was in town when a snow storm made travel dangerous so I decided to get a room to give the snowplows time to catch up.The room was not cleaned at all before the reservation. I was in town when a snow storm made travel dangerous so I decided to get a room to give the snowplows time to catch up.The room was not cleaned at all before the reservation. I didn’t complain because I just wanted to sleep. For starters the toilet had remnants of the previous person.(see attached photos) The shower had hair laying on the track, upon closer inspection the whole shower was dirty.Then a sock was laying on the floor beside the couch,not mine because I had not removed my own shoes. In the morning I found a pile of dirt on the floor that I hadn’t noticed.As it was snowing I doubt I tracked in dirt. All told my guess is that the room may have not been cleaned at all. It’s a shame because it was a nice room. Next time I may spend my money somewhere else.
