My stay at the Ithaca Marriott Downtown on the Commons was genuinely impressive. The location couldn’t be better right on the Commons with easy walking access to restaurants, cafés, and shops. It made exploring the area effortless and enjoyable. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable, with a great workspace that made it easy to stay productive. Everything felt fresh and well‑maintained, exactly what I look for when traveling. The staff deserves special recognition. They were among the friendliest and most professional I’ve encountered at any hotel warm, attentive, and truly welcoming. It made a noticeable difference in the overall experience. Breakfast was included with my status, which I really appreciated, and the quality was solid. Parking also felt very secure, tucked away in its own secluded section of the garage, which added peace of mind. Overall, the Ithaca Marriott Downtown on the Commons is a modern, extremely well‑located hotel with excellent cleanliness and standout service. I’d happily stay here again.

We had such a nice, restful stay at the Ithaca Marriott over New Years Eve! Our north-facing room had a fine view and was well appointed and quiet. Staff were really friendly, and went out of their way to help (in particular, the kind person from Queens who headed up the front desk on January 2 morning). There was a lovely complimentary breakfast on New Years Day, which was much appreciated! This was our fifth year staying here at this particular time. We will definitely be back for a sixth and hopefully many more to come!

I'm driving home from my stay at this hotel. We were in town for 2 nights for a national youth wrestling tournament. I have been extremely dissatisfied lately with all the hotels we travel to for my son's wrestling. I do research when I travel. I don't just pick a hotel for location or savings. I usually stick with Marriott because of our Bonvoy Status and MVC ownership, but trust me if the property doesn't seem up to par I'll go elsewhere. When your child has to get up at 5:30 am for warmups and you have to make sure you have snacks (and coffee) and all the things... you need a hotel you can be comfortable in and with. Well, hotel was AWESOME! Our room was huge - I try to get a suite when we travel because I need the space and a fridge and a place for all the food we bring to tournaments. This was just perfect for being a standard hotel room. And this was the FIRST TIME my Titanium Elite benefit was acknowledged. We got free breakfast, and they made sure even though no suites were available we had a large corner room on the top floor. The staff were so lovely. I needed extra towels - done! We needed our car at specific times - done! No hassle, no issues. Also, I cannot stress enough how grossed out I am in hotels. My husband says I'm high maintenance but honestly I am a full blown germaphobe. I always wipe down every surface, doorknob, and dresser handles (OCD). I still did this, but everything was spotless. The faucet was shining, bathroom renovated and up to date, and the water pressure in the shower was out of this world. So do yourself a favor, if you are traveling to Ithaca for a Cornell event or just a visit, and are looking for a hotel, this is your place. Plus, it's in the Commons so you have a million restaurants you can walk to. 20/10 in my opinion. Raises for all the staff Marriott!
