He went above and beyond to help myself and my husband, who is unable to walk, enjoy every moment of our stay. We will definitely be back.

“Close to Perfection”

This has to be the closest to perfect hotel I’ve stayed in. I’ve stayed all over the northern hemisphere and I mean this sincerely. The check in was so friendly and discrete. I came in first and my room wasn’t announced and I don’t think the gentleman could have been kinder. The lobby is beautiful. It looks like stepping back in time but it’s modern. Even the floors in the elevators are gorgeous. The polished wood is lovely. The hallway to our room was quiet with beautiful music piped in. Our room had beautiful furnishings including nice linens (on a great mattress). Extra pillows for each of us and a comfy sofa made it lovely for relaxing. The bathroom was huge with a bathtub and a stand alone shower. The tile work was gorgeous. Even the toiletries are a few steps up from normal. I was fortunate to use the sauna and spa but sadly not the beautiful swimming pool. The sauna was great with comfy robes and slippers nearby and a locker for your belongings. I had a facial by Marley who is frankly the best. If you have the chance to enjoy the experience please do!! It’s quiet and you leave feeling nurtured and even spoiled. We didn’t eat at the restaurant, Wellington’s, this time because of our schedule but it’s good.

“Gorgeous deco”

This is a beautiful hotel. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The restaurant serves generous portions. Handicap accessibly is good but lacks a handheld shower. I spoke to the staff and he said he would relay that to the owner. So we will see if that was an easy fix. We will stay here again.

I stayed here for 1 1/2 nights while my daughter attended a camp at ETSU. The hotel is in an incredible location if you are going to be at events at the adjoining Martin Center for performing arts or anything at the campus (right across the street). I stayed here for 1 1/2 nights while my daughter attended a camp at ETSU. The hotel is in an incredible location if you are going to be at events at the adjoining Martin Center for performing arts or anything at the campus (right across the street). When you walk in to the hotel, you will feel a little confused. The building is clearly not that old, but the lobby and common areas are decorated and furnished to look like a grand hotel from the early/mid-1900's. The folks at the front desk said it is a 'replica hotel', which was new to me but I get it now. I had a king room that looked out over the pool and parking deck. It was nice sized and furnishings were ok; the couch looked a little dated though it wasn't intended to in my opinion. The king bed was very, very comfortable. The bathroom was very large; two sinks, walk in shower with good pressure, tub. There is a train that goes by behind the parking deck, but I didn't hear it go by if I wasn't outside; they must have good sound proofing, I missed the schedule, or I slept right through it. I can't imagine there is a nicer hotel in Johnson City than this one. I'd go back again if I were to be in the area.
