We really enjoyed our stay at the Viv. We were in anaheim for business but took the family to Disneyland for a day while we were in town. In all honesty, we were hardly on property, so my review is for the service we utilized. The staff at the restaurant downstairs was really accommodating and attentive. We enjoyed our conversation with the bartender and our server. The food was really good, we had the fish tacos, grilled cheese and tomato bisque, and chicken fingers for the young ones. Really delicious and large portions. The pool was open late, and the lobby was quiet... it is definitely more of an adult atmosphere but great for kids. The room was nicely appointed and the valet, front desk, and porter service was great. I would stay here again if I need to come back.

Our family had an incredible stay at the The Viv Hotel, Anaheim, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, friendly, and welcoming. A special shoutout to Noah and Michelle at the front desk, who went above and beyond to make sure we felt taken care of throughout our stay. Their kindness and professionalism really set the tone for a great experience. The location is perfect for exploring Anaheim, especially with its close proximity to Disneyland Resort. The amenities were excellent—everything we needed to relax and enjoy our vacation was right there. Overall, it was a wonderful trip for our family, and this hotel played a big part in making it so memorable. We’re already looking forward to staying here again on our next visit to Anaheim!

“Maybe 3 stars on a good day!”

My family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights for Disneyland. Last year we stayed at the JW Marriott but avoided that hotel this year to dodge the crowds visiting for VidCon. My family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights for Disneyland. Last year we stayed at the JW Marriott but avoided that hotel this year to dodge the crowds visiting for VidCon. We are Marriott Bonvoy members and booked directly through Marriott. This hotel is advertised as a 4 star but really more like a 2-3 star. From a distance the room appears fresh and clean but you can quickly tell that the bare minimum is being done. I always wipe down high contact surface areas myself with Lysol, and my wipes were covered in dirt. The floors are grimy and strings of hair from previous guests were on the floor. We ordered food from Valencia’s and picked it up ourselves rather than room service. It was just average. The most disappointing part is the lack of towels and line provided. For the entire stay we had to keep calling to request more towels because enough were never provided for our family of 4. We just kept receiving large bath towels and little to no wash cloths available. It is also frustrating to come in from Disney and find folded up linen on the bunk beds for ME to have to make up the beds myself. After one night I thought it was a fluke, but no this was the entire stay. I had to make up the bunk beds for my children! On night 3, I had to not only make up the beds again, but had to call and request a sheet because one of the bunk beds they did not put on a new fitted sheet. The fitted sheet does not fit, it was too small. Front desk staff and staff in Melody’s are nice. The rooms are hot, which seems to be a complaint amongst some hotels in the area. We asked for a fan. Maintenance came and lowered the temp, which only helped for the first night. After that it was hot again and we still didn’t receive a fan. If I’m in Anaheim again, I would not return here. I do not like to travel and be uncomfortable and have to constantly request basic essentials.
