“Better than Excellent”

We enjoyed our stay at BW very much. We enjoyed our stay at BW very much. The hotel is equipped with all amenities, including a wonderful kitchen, downstairs, with cold drinks, coffee, all kinds of food and condiments, where guests enjoy complimentary breakfast every day from 6 to 10 AM. There was a coffee maker and a microwave in the room as well but you will not need them as there are two microwaves downstairs, and fresh coffee and tea of all kinds. The rooms are large, with an extra sofa and a balcony which I believe goes with every room. Free WiFi included. The staff is very personable, kind and helpful. The parking lot is literally steps from your room, no matter which room you get. There is even a pool with Jacuzzi. I only wish there were some free weights (dumbbells) in the weight room, but one doesn’t travel here to work out. Minor stuff. Overall, better than excellent! What a difference from those impersonal, big Vegas hotels! Here, you even have a large refrigerator included in the price!

Very clean and comfortable room. This property is extremely well maintained and the people who work there could not be more friendly or helpful. The king suite room was spacious and the furniture was comfortable which is often not the case in hotel rooms.

Stayed 3 nights at the Best Western Cedar Inn & Suites while exploring the various Gold Rush Towns in the Sierra Nevada foothills before heading to Yosemite NP. Found this hotel had a convenient location with ample parking. The entire complex was neat and clean. The breakfast buffet each morning had enough variety to start our day and we never had a problem finding seating. Our room was also neat and clean. As a note - this location only has housekeeping on demand. This wasn't an issue for us as we were only there 3 nights and we had plenty of towels. Also, could request clean towels and extra coffee if needed. I do suggest if deciding to stay here is that you request a 2nd (top floor) room as all the the rooms appear to have vinyl or laminate flooring so the footsteps from above guest (we were on the bottom floor) are extra loud. Two of the nights we were here - the guest above us must have had a specialized workout routine that they decided to do in their shoes at 5:00 am. It was so loud that I had to dig out my ear buds - never had this bad of stomping experience in a hotel before. There is a reason hotels for the most part have carpeting.
