“Cambria Hotel Burbank Airport”

Arrived late into Burbank after flights into Los Angeles were being cancelled and delayed out of Dallas. Was able to book a room at the last minute at the Cambria. I have a jacked up back, and travel had taken its toll. I had never flown into Burbank before, and was concerned about where I might be staying. American Airlines had failed to transfer one of my bags, so I would have to wait until noon the following day to get my bag. Avis car rental was also trying to charge me predatory pricing, so I decided I would deal with all of it in the morning. I grabbed an Uber from the airport to the hotel, which took mere minutes. That degree of closeness will cause me to use Cambia for future trips like this The hotel looked great. As an off-name brand, it's always iffy since hotels are not often honest in their online postings. This hotel (part of the Choice Hotels brand) was true to its listings. I dealt with SUFI at the front desk. I had booked a king bed. I asked for a room with a bath tub. Sufi informed me that there were no king bed rooms available, and asked if two queen beds will do. I told him that would work, IF I could get one with a bath tub to help ease my wrecked back. He gave me a room he thought had a bath tub, but told me to come back down if it did not. It did not. To make up for it, he was kind enough to move me to an open room on their top (executive) floor which was apparently upgraded and included a private area with breakfast. It was VERY kind for him to do this .. and I very much appreciate Sufi. But for future travelers, be advised that the "Executive" experience for this hotel simply means there is an outdoor patio, a thermos of coffee and some store-bought muffins. It was a very nice room, but nothing that would in my mind distinguish it from any other king bed room at any hotels I have ever stayed at. There was a robe, and a carton of water, but nothing that screams "executive" experience. The muffins bordered on laughable. But I always applaud the intentionality, and as far as that goes, SUFI went above and beyond trying to make the experience great. And the hotel itself was nice, convenient, quiet, and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

“Clean, friendly, and relaxing.”

My multiple day stay at this Cambria hotel is always wonderful. Carmen greets me with a smile each time I check in; she is very friendly, super welcoming, and helpful. “Nice sunsets,but little care for Pets”

This was a very clean hotel,but not very helpful staff,it made me feel more alone,only when I really asked for help did the staff help me,but almost felt like they did not want to do so. “Used to be 5 stars”

I’ve stayed here 5 times since April 2025. Each time I book the top floor and I have received free parking (via code given to me verbally at check in). This is the first time I have not and it’s taken away a lot of the “this place is awesome” feeling, tbh. I book the top floor specifically for free… lisää
