Stayed two nights and enjoyed this hotel at a great price for the location and amenities. Friendly staff, clean, well kept up premises. The deck on the second floor was a lovely breakfast or sunset spot. The breakfast room also had a view of the sea. Breakfast included hot dishes as well as the usual cereal/toast items. Double queen room was spacious with a window that actually opened. Paid covered off street parking. A great location for shops, bars, and restaurants in Carlsbad, plus the beach is directly across the street. We never used our car. Guest laundry was clean and handy. Would definitely stay here again.

“Hidden Gem in Carlsbad”

This place is amazing! The rooms were beautiful and very clean. I loved the shutters and being able to open the windows. Bathroom was a little small, but the shower head was high up and really big, so it was like taking a shower in the rain. The location is perfect--right across the street from an … lisää

This place is amazing! The rooms were beautiful and very clean. I loved the shutters and being able to open the windows. Bathroom was a little small, but the shower head was high up and really big, so it was like taking a shower in the rain. The location is perfect--right across the street from an access point to Carlsbad State Beach. The complimentary beach chairs and towels were sturdy and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and there was a great variety of food. The fire pit area is a great place to hang out with a book or talk with friends. You have to buy a parking pass, but it was definitely worth it. The parking area is easy to access and easy to leave from. The smoke alarm in my parent's room was beeping and they fixed it super fast. All in all it was a wonderful place to spend a few days.

Staying at the Best Western Plus in Carlsbad was a wonderful experience. The staff were all polite, professional and very helpful. The acility and amenities were very clean. They have a sun deck with a wonderful view of the beach and ocean and is a very short walk across the street. There's a great restaurant across the street with great food.

“Great hotel in Carlsbad”

I love the location of this hotel. It’s my favorite BW hotel ever. The rooms are great. The staff is great and the free breakfast is great. The breakfast room is wonderful or if you want to have breakfast outside, it’s even better seeing the ocean either place.
